Borosilicate Glass Tubing: 8mm(OD) x 12 Inches: Pk 5 PC

I think I bought this because I was trying to learn glass working, but I got distracted and totally forgot about it, storing these away in a forgotten drawer. Months later, a friend of a friend with a serious drug problem was crashing at my apartment overnight, and went through everything I owned while I was sleeping and discovered these, as well as a blowtorch. I woke to some confusing sounds, and when I went out to investigate, I found the kid working these glass tubes with a blowtorch. Long story short, he'd worked them into zig-zag shapes and had somehow decided to use a blowtorch to heat up the bottom of a borosillicate glass tube and snort copious amounts of instantly-vaporized-by-the-heat-drugs into his face. While I never had a chance to use these myself, I can report that some tweaker kid found them to be extremely useful, and they made a wonderful shattering noise when I smashed them on the pavement the next morning.Pros: even people on drugs can work these into unusual shapesCons: I forgot what project I bought these for in the first place

I'm not clear exactly why Ginsberg is resistant to listing wall thinckness for their tubing. It would be a useful bit of information, making the distinction between sturdy and egg shell.
