The details in this map are beautiful! It is so clear and crisp. Love it!

Very good road detail. National Parks are also included which is nice for trip planning. Expo dry erase pens work on this laminated map.Arrived without any bends or wrinkles and was in a sturdy poster tube which was inside of an Amazon box.

The map is really nice. The only issue is that the laminate is thin and so if the rolled-up map gets shifted in its packaging the edge on that end gets wrinkled.

It came laminated so it was perfect for planning out 3 week road-trip. Using dry erase markers to work out routes is great.

We bought this map as a Christmas gift for a son who wanted a wall map so he could get an impression of the whole country when he is planning a vacation trip. It is big enough to look good on a wall with out being so big that you need to clear an entire wall to fit it. The lamination is better than I anticipated after reading some other reviews--he has it pinned to the wall with a dozen push pins and there doesn't seem to be any danger of the map or the laminating plastic tearing around the pins, and the laminated surface is easy to wipe clean or to use a dry erase marker on for notes on the map. It's a nice map at a reasonable price and was shipped in a substantial cardboard tube so it arrived in excellent condition.

I bought this map to mark my travels across the country with push pins. My plan was to mount this laminated map on a cork board and place on the wall of my study. The plan worked out wonderfully! The map's scale is perfect for allowing me to outline my 45+ years of road, rail, and air travel. The lamination is stiff enough to keep the map rigid, and thin enough to allow a small-guage push pin to pass through the map and securely into the cork board. I highly recommend this series of maps for those seeking to complete a project like mine, or for those who simply enjoy the "old-school" pleasure of standing in front of a map daydreaming about travels taken and those to come.

Love the detail on this map and glad we purchased it. However, it took a very long time to receive it so be prepared for a wait of several weeks.
