Great for Security and Convenience
The Ledger Nano X is an excellent hardware wallet. The Bluetooth feature makes managing crypto and NFTs on the go super convenient. It’s secure, supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies, and is compact enough to carry anywhere.Battery life could be a bit better, and it’s not cheap, but the peace of mind it offers is worth it. Highly recommend for anyone serious about protecting their assets!

Handy Cold Wallet
It stores mainly the mainstream coins like ETH, BTC, XRP, XLM, or any big traders on exchanges. It takes 20 minutes to set everything up and get the ledger running if you are tech savvy. For your first few transactions pleaseallow time. From the picture it looks like the size of a USB stick, but it is actually a few inches bigger. The touchscreen is easy to use the ledger does lock every time the screen locks or if it’s not in use for a while be prepared to enter your pin every single time you login to the ledger. I currently use an iPhone 15 Pro and it pairs very easily with Apple products. You have to have the wallet no less than a foot away from you in order for it to pair with your device. The product is as described and works very well. The functionality is very tech friendly.

Seems to be a good offline wallet
I have gone through the steps to set this up and it wasn't difficult, but it does take 30 minutes as indicated by the instructions.I'm new to crypto currency so I haven't downloaded anything to cold storage, but you will need a way to store your keys to anything you pull to cold storage. The main reason you pull crypto to cold storage is for safe keeping - as long as the crypto is active or in any hot storage solutions, it is at some level of risk of being hacked. But it likely isnt worth cost of moving to cold storage unless you plan on holding the crypto for some time. I didn't see the fees involved until later - you may want to check what your exchange charges to move to cold storage because each charges differently. There is at least one that offers a couple of moves to cold storage monthly if that is in your plans.I expected to be able to set up my own key on the device & all you can set up is the PIN you use to access its menu. The key that transfers between exchange and storage is preset when you go through the initial setup. Note that some receive wallets where the initial setup is complete. I did not receive on like this and I believe Ledger owns this account - at least if you go to the Ledger website, it points you back to this store to purchase wallets. If the initial setup were complete, there is no way I'd use this wallet. With the set up passphrase, you can set up any ledger wallet to match it. So be aware where you store that set of words.Using the actual device isn't too difficult, you have 2 buttons that scrolls through lists. When you click both at same time, you select whatever you are on. The most tedious part of setup is writing down all the words. There are 3 or 4 cards included to write the entries on. Once you have them, you will have to go through and pick the words in order they go in. I thought I messed up and was having to start with a new passphrase - the screens look very similar when you are asked to verify. Once that is complete, you are set to download crypto applications. Each type of crypto has an application to match. This is why many buy this version of a wallet rather than the cheaper one Ledger makes. The cheaper one only has enough storage for 2 or 3 types of crypto to display at any one time. Be aware, you can delete the app after downloading your crypto keys. You will just be able to quickly access the keys for any app that is currently installed. Since I do not know how many I will store, I felt like it'd be easiest to invest now and not have to worry later. One key differentiator is which crypto can be stored on each wallet. They dont all match. If you want to put anything unusual into cold storage, you need to make sure your wallet supports it. This wallet supports way more types of coins than my exchange offers in the US and in my state. Crypto is limited for which can be purchased at the US level and at the state level. Also which exchanges can be used is limited the same way.

Rough start but great product.
So this is my first cold storage type device. After all of the chaos in the crypto world recently, economy and banking in a downward trend, I wanted to get my crypto off of exchanges. The overall function/interface of the device is super simple, it’s small footprint so easy to store anywhere, crypto types are added as “apps” to the ledger via the ledger live app, and accounts are added after everything is set up so you can transfer your crypto. YouTube has step by step guides on how to transfer your crypto off of various exchanges with ease. I had no idea what I was doing, but was able to transfer all my crypto without issue in about a half hour. Now the bad. From the start I had the dreaded battery problem. I followed ledgers step by step guide to the smallest detail and still had issues. After talking to their help team, I got the errors bypassed, synced up my ledger via desktop PC app, pushed the firmware update, and resolved the issue. It finally took a full charge and is now ready to go. Take your time, expect a slow/rough start, follow the procedures and pack your patience. It’s a great system once the firmware is updated and the battery is charged.
