Great stepping stone to a "real" weight football. Flies farther and truer than a Nerf.
My son loves this. It's inflatable, so you can adjust the hardness. It's small enough to be held and caught by younger kids but retains more feel and weight than a Nerf football. Highly recommend it as a way to teach catching and throwing. My son, who's 7, likes this ball and recently got a "real" football that is the same size as the Grip-Tech. He is throwing great and has confidence to catch and throw thanks to the lightness and relative softer impact of the Grip-Tech.

Perfect size, weight, and face-smack cushioning for my 5-yr-old to learn how to catch and throw! The ball is made of "Nerf"-like material on the outside, but it still has a bladder that you must pump up with air. The laces are surprisingly comfortable, and he can get get a nice spin on the ball because of it. Just note, there are a few "harder" places, so not AS soft as say a full, old school nerf ball, but they make the ball more durable when hitting the ground/pavement/etc. Also, colors are RANDOM, so don't expect a particular color, but all the colors are really nice, so it really doesn't matter!We had one of these for a long time, and eventually it broke, so this one replaced it!

Best football ever
This football is perfect. It’s soft enough that if you get hit in the face it’s not going to hurt a lot, but it’s not a foam ball. It’s heavy enough you can throw it in the wind, and real enough to throw a nice spiral. Just about everyone who picks it up comments about how perfect it is. I liked it enough to buy a second one
