Small Southwestern Native American Handcrafted Bear Paw Dangle Earrings in Turquoise and Sterling Silver, #10874

Did I get sent an unfinished product?Where to start. Other than the massive disappointment I suffered upon receiving these.They are extremely small. I know they list measurements but I'm a visual person so I went off the photo. Shame on me.It appears that there is a black inlay but that's not true. All that is hollow. And I'm assuming why it's black is massive amounts of tarnish since the middle claws of the ones I received are black looking from the tarnish they already have. There is NO possible way to clean that. And it is extremely noticeable.The photo shows room all around the gems and mine are squeezed in. One is actually protruding out and again, is EXTREMELY NOTICEABLE.I wasn't aware the back was flat, I wrongly assumed they would be rounded which would have been way more attractive. Maybe that's just my preference.Even the hooks look like they were cheaped out on - instead of being the elegant thin rounded ones they are flat and look like fish hooks. Cheap looking.The back part protrudes up and is EXTREMELY NOTICEABLE like it should have been cut to size and wasn't. Half the circle is covered by this. If you enlarge the picture and it's something you're actually looking for you'll notice.The cleaning instructions are a joke, stating not to get the gems wet but that's the biggest part of earring!Overall, an embarrassing gift to give and EXTREMELY over priced.The seller needs to hope these really are sterling (as stated by large stamp on back of earring and authenticity card) and does not turn my mother in law's ears green. If she even wears them.

So these are definitely handmade in the sense that the earrings aren't identical, but I think they are still gorgeous and have a great feel to them. I got these to replace a similar pair of earrings and the only thing I'm disappointed in is the size. I thought they were going to be about the size of my thumbnail, like my previous earrings, but instead are slightly smaller. I'll still wear them and enjoy wearing them, I just wish I had gotten a slightly bigger option (if that exists)

They're great! Not very big at all. It is hard to see in the picture but the claws are cut out of the silver. My only complaint is that the hooks were fastened on in a very visible and unaesthetic way.
