I bought these specifically to use with a new 5-piece cast iron cookware set I bought here on Amazon, and I used them with the set today for the first time and they did not disappoint.In order to season the cookware set I cooked two full packs of bacon in each of the four pans, which was no small feat. I had to get the pans nice and hot in order to do so.I had to use the mitts to maneuver the pans, move them to the sink, pour the grease out while holding the hot pan, move them back to the stove, etc. It was a whole thing.The mitts ended up getting pretty greasy, and the great thing was I could just sponge them off with soap and water.I was also very pleased at how well the mitts protected my hands from the heat. The cast iron pans had each been on the stove for around 45 minutes, and were HOT. Really hot. Even holding the heavy pans in two mitted hands for 2-3 minutes while pouring grease out and moving the pans around trying to get the remaining grease to coat the sides I never felt an uncomfortable amount of heat come through the mitts.The silicone wasn't impacted by the heat, and even though I've used them for cooking for a couple of weeks now they still appear to be brand new.LOVE these mitts and recommend them to everyone!

Pros: High heat resistant, textured non-slip grip, cute design, very easy to wash, and protective plastic coating covers the mitt on both sides all the way up cuff (majority of mitts cover only one side of fabric) which is sewn to mitt so it won't fall off or come off during use.Cons: Colors are not as vibrant as pictured. Because the plastic is both sewn and glued into the cuff part of the Mitt, you cannot remove the mitt for washing separately which I was really hoping to do. Also, mitts came with plasticy mechanical smell. Before use, wash outer plastic part of mitt with warm water and dish soap.

I bought these mitts and I'm so glad I did. They are extremely protective against heat . Being an animal lover, I ordered the Dog Print design, and they make a very cheerfuladdition to my kitchen. One added bonus is that I , as I'm getting older , don't have much grip in my hands any moreand I was having trouble unscrewing lids.I put on one of my Mitts, and presto !! ! I can unscrew lids with no effort whatsover..A great Find!!!! I highly reconomend...

I absolutely love these pot holders!They work as intended with good heat resistance. I also like that they have a little bit of stitching inside for better grip/finger separation.The design and colors are vibrant and so cute. I should note that I got the round pot holders (cactus print) and not the mitten style. Many other reviewers complained about the silicon sleeve on the mitten style making the designs/colors weak. To avoid that, the round holder style is good as only one side has the silicon heat protection and the other is the bright colors as wanted. I'm sure the mitten style are good as well but just be aware that the design will be very muted.Lastly, I think these are very reasonably priced! At time of purchase for me they were just under $14 which is cheaper than most others I saw on amazon and much cuter/more vibrant designs.I would definitely recommend these for anyone needing new pot holders :)

I bought these Fruit Flower Silicone Shell hotpads, along with a pair of matching gloves, for my wife for Christmas and she absolutely loves them both. She actually got rid of all her old ones. Woohoo!!PRO's: She's never had hotpads with the silicone shell before and can't believe how well they grip hot pots, pans, and casserole dishes. They really protect your hands from hot and heavy objects, in fact you can't even feel any heat come through no matter how long you hold the hot pans. The other great feature is you can slip your hands inside each hotpad to help protect you from accidentally burning the back of your hand on the inside of the stove. This is a very well designed and ruggedly built set of hotpads. We both use them.Cons: absolutely none. When my wife is happy, I'm happy!Definitely would recommend these hotpads at any price.

My wife loved these! They have the heat resistant rubber and soft comfortable fabric lining of the interior. The rubber outer makes cleaning them fast and easy! My wife liked how all of the dogs had the breed name except one that just says “cute dog”. Price and quality are A+

I bought these for myself over the holidays. I am an avid cook and use my oven at least twice a day. I had really crappy oven mitts that were all fabric and stained. The appeal of these was the fact they were covered in silicone so any spills and accidents wouldn't stain the beautiful fabric. I have used them at various temperatures (350-500) and haven't felt any heat. I did however think they came apart for washing, but the lining is sewn to the silicone. I don't think it will be a problem though. Great oven mitts and really love the pattern of the fabric!!

Sturdy mitt and cute fabric. The silicon layer is thick and slightly translucent - not 100% clear. Not exactly the look I was going for but they do work well.
