English-Spanish/Spanish-English Medical Dictionary, Fourth Edition

This book has, by far, been the most useful for communicating healthcare information with Spanish speakers. It even includes many words that may be region-specific. For those wanting a book with specific phrases to ask a patient, this book is not for you. For those needing something to reference to translate a specific word they heard a patient use, this is 100% the best book I have found.

Highly recommended as a stepping stone towards a goal that is grand.

I'm an interpreter and I participate in medical missions in various Spanish speaking countries twice a year. I never have WiFi on site and the vocabulary differs a lot from country to country so I needed a medical dictionary that I could download and that would be easy to use at work. I just found this dictionary on my last trip to El Salvador and found it to be very practical and easy to use. I have it on my e reader and carry it with me everywhere.

Need it for my job. Many patients do not speak English so this book helps me in assisting them.

Useless dictionary. Missing so many important words and does not give you the translation of the acronyms in the other language.
