Why is change hard? It starts with an honest look in the mirror.
Anyone who wants to lead change must begin with an honest look in the mirror: am I ready to be the kind of leader who can do what my organization needs?Often we think it's other people, rather than ourselves, who need to do all the work of change. But as leaders, it begins with us.In Swimming In The Deep End, Jennifer Abrams highlights four key skills we must all develop to be effective leaders of change. A must-read for any leader.

If you need this book you should not be a leader!
I'm a UK professional teacher, school manager, and business leader. I know what to do. I'm looking to learn. This is another book touting information and professionalism that could be summarised on an A4 sheet. It is not a book for leaders. It's more a self help book for people who want to address their issues, not school development. Not a single example from life or research. An American book in the 'me and my issues' style. The waste of my time (i literally skimmed through 85% off the book) is more of an issue than the waste of my money.
