After testing audio Technica gdl3 and razer blackshark v2, this was undoubtedly the best choice I could make. Both in terms of comfort and build quality and in terms of sound quality

I've owned a yeti before and I had to ditch it because it had a very bad habit of picking up every bit of background noise.This microphone has a similar sound profile with slightly less bass which is a shame, however it doesn't pick up nearly as much background noise, is far lighter, slimmer and more aesthetically 2020.Excellent microphone for the price!

Date of typing - 3/June/2020Right off the bat, I want to say the headphones kick the crap out of the Sennheiser's/Astros A50/logitek g953 I had before this.The headset - The audio is really good, you can listen to the whole range really enjoyable for then I listen to music and them being open back it keeps your ears cool the padding is really comfy so its good for my long game sessions. The headband is flexible but holds its shape so you don't need to worry about it warping. To back this up to go to Youtube and look at Z Reviews video on it.The mic - It's nice and has clear, I have mine on an arm about 3 feet away and still picks me up fine. If you want to use the stand included its good, solid bit of metal so it won't fall over easily but its quality is rubbishThe Flaw - Now for the headphones, most people will want to use the audio jack in the mic so that you have the audio controls, but the jack quality is so poor after a couple of weeks it starts making static noises I thought mine was just faulty so I had them replaced but it has happened again with my 2nd pair within the same amount of time.So I asked my friend who does audio for a living and he recommended to check the headphones on the pc directly bypassing the mic and the static stopped swapped back to the mic and the static returned so I can only assume is a design flaw.Overall I'm annoyed that they skimped on the quality of an important part but the overall quality for me is worth it as I can work around it by using a Schiit Magni 3 Heresy so that I still have audio controls but don't have to worry about the audio jack issues.UPDATED 12/07/2020 - The fox mic failed again due to the mic only picking up static/humming noise Amazon told me I have to send them back and it really ticks me off that I'm having to give up this EPIC headphones over this crap microphone they give you. DO NOT BUY THE FOX MIC ITS CRAP. I'm currently looking at getting the headphones on there own but Beyerdynamic only sell it as a bundle unless you buy it from them directly and that makes the cost jump a lot.

not much to add, simply works

This worked well once I had set it up correctly. Great feature to blend between mic/computer audio which means you can have music in the background on conference calls that you can hear but the others can't :-0It didn't plug and play completely easily first time. I have Win10 and it was recognised immediately, which was good. The sound of the mic via the headphones [not supplied] was great. But when I used it to record or phone my voice sounded really deep. It turns out that you need to match the sampling rate in DeviceManager, Microphones, Advanced, Sampling Rate = 48kHz. If it's 41KHz, you sound too deep. If it's 96kHz, you sound like you're breathing helium. Once set-up, worked a dream. Fantastic value.

The headphone is pretty good but not as good as expected. For example it is better than the Mh752 but not mileeess better although it is much pricier. I don't have anything else to say about it apart that it is a good headphone but just that it isn't that confortable and that it will probably need an amp (or use the FOX as an amp).The FOX is ehhh for the price, it sounds alright but nothing crazy. No gain control apart from high and low.... Also on the low mode you can't use the mixing knob for some reason. The stand is useless since if you barely tilt it, the weight of the FOX makes it fall and squishes the cable. It sounds similar to the seiren mini.I would not buy this bundle for anything more than 160 quid which is what I paid for.

I bought this to allow me to record the string quartet I play in. I've only used it a couple of times and have connected it directly to the USB C output on my Android phone. I needed to buy an OTG USB adaptor to make this work but they're cheap so no big deal.The Fox managed to record our musical efforts brilliantly and is a vast improvement on the standard phone or tablet microphone.It came well packed and feels like a quality product. I spent quite a bit of time reading about different mikes from other manufacturers but settled on this one eventually as it was better value than some of the competition and received positive reviews across the web.

eh, its abit of a shame, its actually such a damn perfect product, problem being, after 4 weeks on the dot, i plugged it in, and nothing...its dead, ive emailed beyerdynamic 6 days ago, but no joy....so not very impressedUpdate. A day after this was posted the mic was replaced within a week. No problems a year on
