NIV, Super Giant Print Reference Bible, Giant Print, Leathersoft, Brown, Red Letter Edition Imitation Leather – Large Print, September 30, 2014

This is a really great bible! It took me months to decide on a bible! I had actually ordered and returned a study bible because of small print and thin pages.But this NIV has Super Giant Print! Words of Jesus in Red, Indexed, ( index could be better, but apparently we can't have it all! ), and the pages are considerably thicker than most. There is still some shadowing, but it's hardly noticeable with the super giant print!I have been a KJV reader all my life. Recently, I felt like maybe I was missing some understanding and decided to search other translations. I am so glad I did! The NIV is so easy to read. Don't get caught up in "verses missing". It's still very much christian based! And you can write those verses on a sticky note and add them to the page! It's worth it to, essentially grab another gear, and expand your understanding!I think I'll order one for my husband!

I bought this for a Christmas gift for my mother, who has limited eyesight and struggles even with typical "large print" literature. I searched quite a while on line, and this was the largest font Bible I could find. The print is huge and clear, very easy to read. The paper is a good balance between heavy enough that the print doesn't bleed through from the other side or tear easily, and light enough that the Bible isn't too thick or heavy. The bonus is how attractive the cover is. The bright teal cover with embossed geometric design is sophisticated and really lovely. Not only does my mother love it, but she tells me that everyone who comes into her room asks about it and comments on how lovely it is. She also says that the bright cover makes it easy for her to keep track of where it is and spot it when she's looking for it. We are both v. happy with this Bible.

The color of the exterior and ease of Reading the scriptures’ is as published. It was well received and easily managed for our Families elders who received these for Christmas gifts

My friend, who is in memory care, LOVES this beautiful bible. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous and a joy to use, but she can actually see the print effortlessly. She is able to participate in her bible study classes more fully. I believe it is improving the quality of her life.Though the print is quite huge, she is able to manage the weight of the book. I believe it weighs about 3.3 pounds, or the weight of a half gallon of milk which is 3/4 full. She just puts it in a bag on her wheeled walker and is off to class.

I ordered this Bible on December 11th and had it in my hands on December 20th. That is excellent considering I live in Bermuda and anything I order is first delivered to an address in NY, USA, and then forwarded to me here. So I was very pleased with the delivery time.As for the Bible itself, I like it. The lettering is at 16.5 point print, which is super giant as advertised.But know also that the Bible itself is LARGE and will not fit into an average Bible case/cover bag.There are only two things that kept me from giving this Bible five stars.1.) The pages are extremely thin and a lot of them are stuck together at the edges, so that I have to tear them apart to separate them. So far this hasn't damaged any of the pages but the chance of that happening is there.2.) I'm not a fan of the two-tone colored cover ... and the cover feels like it is made of rubber. Thankfully, I bought this Bible for the contents on the inside and not for its cover, but still .... it just doesn't "feel" like a Bible to me.However, the pages are why I took away a star and not the cover because the description clearly stated this was not a leather or an imitation leather cover.I would still recommend this Bible though. In my opinion, it is worth its price and a nice 'house' Bible to keep laying around.

Loved the teal color but selected the wrong version. I will give it away.
