Nice looking hand made Boar bristle. I face lather for shaving, I don't see the point in lathering a bowl. As this brush breaks in, the Bristles start to split, the brush becomes the best way to lift whiskers. I use hard shaving soap and this brush has the backbone to lift the soap to be painted onto your face. It is cheaper than my Silvertip Badger brushes, not as soft as my Synthetic brushes but is in the perfect zone for soap lathering and shaving. The brush takes a few weeks to break in, and continues to soften. Importantly, the brush will not completely soften throughout, it will keep that firm interior to enable soap lathering.
