Not much to this battleship model
I'm giving this product a four star vote for categories: For beginners and build simplicity. Also, I love buying USA made.The model is composed of a few dozen (perhaps a bit more) dull grey pieces of varying size, a couple small, business card sized sheets of stickers and instructions. I paid 25 bucks for it and can't get over how little it all amounts to.Another reviewer commented about a detailed model this isn't. Bump.

If you plan to make a detailed model this isn't it.
Many of the parts were obviously old castings that had a lot of trimming top be done. The model is true to form in that it is a Iowa class battleship but it lacks the detail one would expect in this scale. The decals are a little off as they have the fantail flight deck markings for helicopters and the WWII with two poorly modeled aircraft and launch rails.

String and Tape are necessary
The pieces aren’t molded well! Not much made in China is, but it’s a good way to teach a young man how to overcome adversity!

Fun for kids to do
My 6 year old was able to put together with help. The plastic is a bit thin though

Loose pieces everywhere
Very cheap product. So hard to assemble and requires glue to set it in place. I gave it to my son and it was a nightmare to try to glue it. So disappointed.

Neat model
Used this to assemble with my 7 year old. Great joint project but lots of detail painting.
