miYim Musical Pull Toy, Brown Owl (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I just received this owl yesterday and it's marvelous! For one, it's huge! I immediately hung it on my Bugaboo's car seat bar and he absolutely loves it! I had to take down his other hanging toys as this one needs to hang alone to one side or else it's so large it blocks all his frontal view. He seemed to know to pull on it and he smiled a big dimpled, gummy smile when it started playing twinkle twinkle. The music has an old fashioned sound to it, like plucks from an antique music box. It's pleasant and unexpected. The light brown color is so cool and you can tell it's hand dyed and a little uneven, which makes it even more cool and one of a kind. It has such a sweet expression. It seems very well made and just precious all over. Of course being completely organic is the biggest selling point and you can feel good about your baby doing what babies do best, sucking and gumming this safe, gentle owl. I'm really proud of this purchase. Bugaboo and I highly recommend this!

this toy is made from organic materials so you can feel safe about baby chomping on it. the toy is actually bigger than i thought it would be but baby doesn't seem to mind that he can't quite hold it yet bc he can grasp the pulley and even though my baby is only (almost) 5 months old, he has pulled the cord to play the music a couple of times on his own already! the music can help distract him if i need to keep him occupied for a few minutes, and the cord is long enough that the music actually plays for maybe half a minute (? not certain i have not timed it yet ) so you're not having to pull it every few seconds and the little loop comes with a velcro closure so it can be easily moved but is strong enough so baby can't actually detach it

This sweet little owl made a lovely gift for a newborn. The owl is well-made, with soft, organic materials, and the melody is beautiful and soothing. What's not to like? My owl-loving two-year-old agrees - she wanted to keep it for herself! I may just have to get another one for her...

Cute owl toy. Plays Twinkle Twinkle Little star. Has been pretty durable so far, the only thing is the velcro looks like it might wear out at some point, but that's easily replaceable.

This musical owl is so sweet! Waiting for my 1st grandchild and I can't wait to placed this in her crib !

Reason for four stars instead of five is that the pull mechanism broke, but my handy spouse was able to fix it. Good as new.

I gave it as a baby shower gift. I am a big fan of musical baby toys, so I was excited to give a gift that went with her theme of owls.

Very cute and well made - except the musical devise... off key and sounded like it needed a battery!!
