I love all things Christmas...with the exception of most of the music. -_- I enjoy the occasional carol, snicker at the memories of the kitschy holiday standbys, cringe at the sappy-ness. Nary a radio station is aired in our home or vehicles during the month of December to witness the relentless barrage of Drive by Reindeer hit-and-runs or heart warming renditions of a Norman Rockwell Christmas that never was.Can you even relate?Finding this C.D. was a bracingly peppermint-y breathe of fresh holiday air.These offerings include but are not limited to;Christmas Time-ALOThe Man in the Santa Suit-Neil HalsteadChristmas-Rouge Wave

great holidays sounds
I absolutely love this album! I love everything that Jack Johnson does or is involved with though so I am a bit biased. I really appreciated how everyone on this album either took an old song and made it their own, or they were totally original. It's always refreshing to here something new when it comes to Holiday music too. Every year it's usually just the same old stuff you've always heard. Not anymore! It's just a shame that this is only a holiday album because I would like to listen to it year round. Maybe I will anyway just to drive my husband up the wall. :-)

Seriously a fun, delicious, grown-up, Christmas CD. When your tired of White Christmas and are ready to make your own holiday magic...rock out Christmas with this. Might I also say w/o sounding to weird...that when your kids are older; you'll want them to say they remember baking cookies to G Love or dancing in their socks on Christmas Eve to Zee Avi... Its that good.

Very nice change
I love the holidays! You can listen to this cd beyond Christmas. It has a beachy vibe. Not your traditional tunes that you get sick of.

warm, decembery, and reminiscent of brushfires
this is much better than it has any right to be.great job to the compilers here. this was a quick holiday favorite around our house.

Erwartung übertroffen..
..und das war wirklich überraschend, denn als ich die LP auspackte, strahlte mich farbiges Vinyl an! Das hatte ich so nicht erwartet. Die Platte ist grün-rot und passt damit nicht nur akustisch zur Weihnachtszeit.Der Versand dauerte etwas lange, was ja aber angegeben war, daher völlig ok für mich.

Modern and Laid Back.
A modern, laid back Christmas album from some known, and not-so-known artists. Some classics and some originals. Nice clear green and red vinyl too.

Sans défaut, mais la magie n'opère pas
Je n'ai pas aimé cet album, mais sans pouvoir expliquer réellement pourquoi.Il n'est pas mauvais (toutes les chansons sont de qualité), mais je ne suis pas arrivé à accrocher.Peut être que les musiques ne sont pas assez entrainantes ou que je n'aime pas l'aspect "compilation".Ou tout simplement, peut être que cet album n'est fait pour n'être écouté qu'à Noël, donc seulement 3 semaines par an...Je m'attendais à retrouver là le style hawaïen classique du label Brushfire Record, mais je n'arrive pas à l'associer dans ma tête avec la période de grand froid, à Noël, que nous connaissons de par chez nous.
