Bought this as a present for my friend's daughter who is nearly 4. She loved it and was so excited to create funny faces. It made her very happy! Even my friend enjoyed playing with it

This is a great game to play on the go and on holiday. However the quality of the pieces is not so great especially if they get any water…just a drop is enough to make them peel.

I bought this for my 2 year old as she is expressing interest in faces and drawing so I thought to make one up this way would be entertaining for her and one day (when we can all go out again) it could be something to take to e.g. a restaurant to keep her busy. It comes with a great variety of items and so the number of faces (male and female) you can make is fab. What I dislike a lot is there is no where for the magnets to go while you're making faces. In order to use it you have to clear the faces area of any magnets and you pretty much have to just put them on the table. So my idea of it being a good travel toy is out the window unless I take along something to put them I myself. Maybe if an additional fold out magnetic sheet had been included so there was somewhere safe the magnets could go when not being used, it would have scored 5 stars.

Good set but very easy losing the small pieces. My 2 year old daughter loved it when she first got it but then rarely plays with it. Hopefully she will return to it when she is a bit older.

First, the fact that this is one of my LO's favorite new Christmas toys has to be mentioned as kid enjoyment is important criteria for a good toy. There are a good number of magnetic facial features and accessories so that many combinations are possible.To address complaints I have seen in other reviews:1. The metal container came dented. Actually mine did too, but it was a tiny dent and not something I was going to return over (and I am quick to return for damage). I just kind of figured that my LO will likely dent it at some point--I would prefer something slightly sturdier, but I like the concept enough that we kept it.2. What to do with the magnets while the toy is in use. So with the info from the previous reviews, I fully expected to use a ziplock bag. I will say this is still not an ideal solution as it keeps LO from being able to spread out the pieces to select from. I suppose an alternate option would be to keep the pieces in one side while you work on the other. I am also considering buying a small fishing tackle box to sort the pieces. The take home from this is that it isn't the best toy to take in the car/plane etc, but it is compact for traveling if your destination has somewhere your LO can spread out.

My three year old loves this toy and it’s super portable. Has played with it almost daily on a recent vacation. Just need to use your own ziploc bag for the pieces!
