As good as it gets for an electric head razor
Bought this around 1 month ago, I am a bald man who up until now has used a DE or straight razor to shave my head.I have been shaving with a razor for approximately 3 years.Even after 3 years I do still cut myself on occasion, which leads to me not being able to shave my head for a week while the cuts heal. Plus the fact that I was never really in the mood for the route on a daily basis.I recently went to a barber, to take my 2year old in for his second hair cut and decided that while I was in there I'd get my head razored at the same time. I'm not a regular, I've had (Inc this one) 3 trips to the barbers in all of my 37 years.I was disappointed to learn they didn't provide wet shaves with a straight razor, but instead would use "the foil". What this meant was an electric foil razor which I didn't have any experience with. I was a bit put off. But by the end I was actually very satisfied with it.Ok, it's not a razor finish, but it's good. I'd say it's a razor finish +12hrs.So. I asked him what he was using, it was an Andi's, so I went looking for reviews and here we are. I bought one also. I've been using it almost daily, takes me less than 5mins to shave and around 1minute to clean the hair out of it. Astonishingly quick to someone used to the routine of wetting my hair, foaming up a lather with a hair brush and shaving bar, applying and slowly shaving trying.I also picked up a spare blade/foil pack as they recommend they are changed every 6 months. Rather have one spare ready to go each time.I would recommend this foil razor to anyone who wants a fully bald head without the hassle of the routine that goes with the wet razor shave. You get an almost razor finish for a 1/3rd of the effort and no chance of cuts. The fact that it is so convenient means I am inclined to do it daily, which means I spend less time looking like an unshaved balding man!Thumbs up from me.

The Perfect 'clean shaven' look.
This is the best electric razor I've ever had. It is very light and fits in the hand very comfortably. The on/of control is easy to manipulate with only your thumb and it's battery means you can use it as your daily trimer for several days before it needs charging. The cleaning is about as simple as it's physically possible to be and requires nothing more than a small brush. What makes this razor stand out is that it's very clearly designed for use on short stubble. It's designed to go from the shortest stubble to completely smooth in only a few passes. This is absolutely not good for two or 3 days growth. However, if you want something that's going to give you a very comfortable, very very close shave then this is the one you want. If you shave every day - invest in this. It really is worth it.

A close shave!
I wanted to find a foil type razor as I found my Phillips one blade wasn't taking my beard short enough. I was sceptical what to buy and one day when my barber was giving me a skinfade he pulled out the andis. It leaves such a nice short finish and I just had to buy it. I've had it nearly a year already and it does a great job the battery life is also reasonable. The key is to remove to cover and clean the blade/guard area with the brush provided as you can get build up as pictured.

Second time lucky!.
Had a problem with my first one. That's in the past. The reason this is the best shaver on the market is because it doesn't rely or need things such as a swivel head or ultra powerful motor or auto sensing technology. It simply uses a very thin foil and sharp blades. No ifs or buts. Thats it. Other manufacturers take note.

It just works
I got this as a completely bald head shaver, I have used Wahl corded clippers for years, which are ok but a PITA to use, take along time if you are doing it all yourself, also takes a while to clean up afterwards and you end up looking like an ageing Skinhead.I tried one of those small green Phillips shavers which was ok but not very powerful and took almost as long as the Wahl, around half an hour, with very slightly better results, the main advantage being you can use it in the bathroom cos its rechargeable. After much research I decided to get the Andis TS-2, its what most barbers use right? All day every day!So I used it for the first time with a couple of days growth from the Phillips and boom shakalak rudeboy, its an awesome bit of kit. Took about 5 minutes for the smoothest head I have had since I tried wet shaving, which is just terrible for my sensitive allergy ridden skin. And the TS-2 is a doddle to clean afterwards. The only criticism I have (and its minor) is that they provide you with a transparent plastic cover to protect the foil, took me longer to find the cover again than it did to do the shave, cos its transparent! You live and learn. Well if you made it to here, well done for reading my first essay on the Andis TS-2, if its not been updated negatively in six months time, then I still love it. If you are thinking about buying one I cannot recommend it enough.

Damaged Foil
The foil part arrived damaged and makes a loud weird noise compared to those online.

Not for me. Though decent item
Decent item though not for me.I purchased this to tidy my neck hair daily. This isn't a razor to be using as a daily cut.Left me with razor burns. The item itself you can tell is well built and a premium item however it did not provide the shave I needed.
