Personal Cane Holder Hands Free

I can stand in place just fine for hours however moving around I have needed a cane for the last 2.5-3 years. As anyone who uses a cane on a regular basis you know you will need to set it aside to free up the hand its normally in to do various tasks. In my case if the cane falls to the floor on accident then I literally have to wait for someone to get it for me as I can't get low enough to get it back. With this thing clipped to my belt I don't have to find a corner to put my cane into and move around without it which again, is difficult for me. Compound that with potentially it falling over even when the cane gently placed... well yeah it is a great buy and I will definitely buy a couple more to attach to bags for when I'm not wearing a belt. Again, a great buy. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Horrible product poorly designed . Will not accept any cane bigger than a toothpick and getting it out again is ridiculous . I’m sending it back

This cane holder will work with a white mobility cane for the blind. It will not hold one snuggly but it will hold your cane well for the times that you need both hands and don’t want or cannot find somewhere to lean your cane. I use an Ambutech white cane and it holds it well. I also tried a NFB white cane and it held it as well. It will be loose in the holder so if you want or need a snug fit, this holder is not for you. I thought I’d give it a try and I am really glad that I did. I am very pleased. I am actually going to buy another to give to a friend of mine that is also blind. As a blind gentleman, this is desperately needed for trips to nasty restrooms alone. LOL. I would have given it a 5 if the hold diameter could somehow be adjusted to make it fit more snuggly. There isn’t much available for the blind community for things of this nature so when you try something not made specifically for your white cane, it’s a hit or miss.

Easy to get on and off the belt. While supposedly made for 1" diameter canes, it's a hell of a struggle to get my cane into the clip.

If you use a cane and you usually wear a belt, this is the choice cane holder for you. I put this on every day. it is an excellent option for all sorts of situations during the day. I use this to hold my cane while I'm getting coffee at work, making payments in the checkout aisle at local stores, presenting my tickets to TSA at the airport, doing household chores and just about anything else I do standing. It is very sturdy and hasn't cracked or broken even when I've put a lot of pressure on it (putting cane in at wrong angle). Putting the cane in and taking it out is easy and becomes second nature after a few repetitions. I have multiple canes and this hold all of them, except for a custom made cane that is very very thick. This is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

The diameter of the opening is too small for either of my 2 commonly bought canes and it isn’t adjustable. I suspect most people like me don’t bother to return it, so the company continues to, but shouldn’t, sell it.Even though it’s not expensive, it’s irksome to have paid good money for a tiny piece of plastic. Look for one that you know will fit. Otherwise, it’ll end up in that little junk drawer that has all those little things you don’t know what to do with, but paid good money for. HA HA.

Had to return this unfortunately. While it is a good product, it did not fit my cane due to the thickness of the diameter and it offered no flexibility to open any wider than its current width. It is unfortunate that they do not make this with a variety of openings to accommodate other canes.Recommend you make sure your canes diameter before purchasing.
