Moulin Roty - Kids Story Flashlight / Storybook Torch - ''La Grande Famille''

This is SUCH a cute and fun idea, but unfortunately, the execution is a bit lacking. The pictures on the disk don't show up clearly when they are cast onto the wall etc., unless you manually pull down the little slot. It makes it really hard for a kid to use on their own and honestly not that comfortable for an adult to use. If you don't do that, though, the pictures are too fuzzy to even see, so it becomes basically just a flashlight and you can't use it for the storytelling purpose it was intended for.

I received Moulin Roty shadow puppets instead of this story flashlight but when I tried to return them, the return window had closed. I do love all Moulin Roty so hopefully we’ll be able to use them but the flashlight would’ve been much better for my 3 yr old, especially for solo play. I am a single mother and while I’d love to spend all night doing shadow puppets, I don’t have much time and that’s why the story flashlight which is like an old fashioned viewer which lights up one delightful image at a time to spark imagination, would’ve been lovely to have for my toddler.The shadow puppets are paper and also quite fragile. A toddler would certainly rip them. Def recommend moulin roty but I wish I actually owned the product I bought! I would’ve included a photo but they’re in the bedroom with my sleeping mother.

Did not receive the flashlight at all, all that came were these paper cut outs! So disappointed.
