I normally paint with acrylics, but wanted to paint on a glass mug so tried glass paint. With practice you can get good. Just not use to such thin, paint, but that's the way it is supposed to be.

I got privacy in my home. Door was situated in front of my home and you could see straight through living room to the kitchen . Much better now .

This is very affordable, good quality, well packaged paint. The colors are nice and vibrant and the paints are very easy to use. The set comes with a plastic palette and a brush. I was very impressed with the seller’s description of the product and quick delivery. Only minor issue with the paints is that they are very slow to dry. 3-4 days after, when exposed to sunlight that created moisture on the glass surface and the paint began to run. Need a full week to dry.

While restoring all of the dashboard illumination on a thirty-year-old car, I came across a tiny incandescent lamp -- TSD 077 -- that proved difficult to find a suitable replacement for. My car used several, in varying colors. I ended up soldering 3mm clear LEDs into my switches instead. Rather than buy a fifty-pack of each color I needed, I bought these paints. They are outstanding for adding color to plastic LEDs. The paint added just the right amount of translucence and color I needed. The paint actually has self-leveling properties that helped coat the LEDs evenly after sitting for a few hours. Of course, you cannot use an oven to bake the finish onto a plastic LED, but just air-drying was totally sufficient for my project, as the bulbs are enclosed behind buttons. Shake well, and use a cotton swab to apply the paint -- you won't need much. This paint really worked great in getting my interior illumination looking like new again.

Not even worth buying for experimenting. Might be ok for little kids. There were redundancies and missing colors. No tab for pulling the tamperproof seal off, have to pierce with something (messy). They are very thick and viscous, therefore difficult to spread evenly. Transparent, but shows every brush stroke and if you brush back across the same area that already has paint, it picks most of the paint back up Definitely couldn't do anything precision with these, even with the thinnest brush, because of thickness. Might work if you want to paint something all in one single color, but would require several coats to get even coverage.

I purchased these paints in order to paint some glass jars to use as tea lights. I wanted a translucent paint so that when a candle was placed in the jar, it would shine through the paint with a stained glass effect. These paints are NOT translucent. They all dried opaque, despite the fact that "Stained Glass" is clearly used in the product description. I was very disappointed with the finished effect. After all the work it took to paint the jars, I now just have two painted jars instead of the tea light holders I was going for. In addition, the dried paint can very easily be scratched off. If you want a stained glass, translucent paint effect, DO NOT USE THESE PAINTS. These are glass paints, but they will dry opaque.
