Wonderful!
This product is amazing! I am so happy with my purchase. It cooks my frozen dinners to boiling in about an hour and a half and it cools down rather quickly. I highly recommend this.

Great little food warmer
This little jewel can warm up a sandwich, egg biscuit, hamburger etc in about 20 minutes. There’s no on/off control or temperature control. You just plug it in and it starts warming. There’s a little opening in the back panel where the cord fits through. It melts the cheese on your sandwich and warms the food to a nice temperature. The warming plate sits in the bottom of the lunch box and you place your food on it (been wrapping sandwiches in foil) zip it up and plug it in. Great value for the money. I don’t think it’s designed to cook raw foods although other reviewers say they did. But I highly recommend it as a food warmer. It’s the size of a normal lunch box. So glad I made this purchase. Just remember to unplug it before removing your food (so you don’t forget).

Works great!!
My husband is a residential painter and dry wall finisher. We bought one of these a year ago to save money on lunches for him, by taking left overs from supper, instead of eating out. His warmer has been great!! It’s still going strong after all this time. No issues all! We even bought more for our sons that work with him and now for myself as well. 30-45 minutes and your food will be pipping hot! Highly recommend this warmer!

Hope it lasts!
Let me tell you, if possible, about my work environment. It's 952 paces (average 3 feet per pace) from my desk across two ware houses to a tiny break room where the microwave is. It takes eight minutes to walk it. Of course the break room is crammed with people at lunch. Heating food generally used up another 10 minutes as you gotta wait on people in line. So there's 18 minutes of a 30 minute break before we even walk back. The rules say no food is allowed in the warehouses, yet, we risk our jobs every time we want hot food to walk through with our cold food, then back with our hot food - which isn't very hot anymore by the time we get back to our desks. Plus carrying a hot container has other risks.Added is the risk that we drop our food... This hot plate's arrival today was especially sweet because just today, the guy who gets a 1 hour lunch and is allowed to leave the property during work hours to go buy hot food or whatever he wants to eat - while us peons suffer and starve - he said, "I would ask for a new printer before a microwave oven for our department." We have a printer, it works. He just wants a fancier one, and would let his crew eat cold food or get fired to eat hot food during our 12 hour shift, before he would supply us with a microwave. Ya, he's a real piece of dweep this one.So I bought this thing. I chose it in particular because as a soft sided bag I have more options for food container sizes and shapes. It arrived today while I was at my crappy job. Soon as I got home and unpacked it, I put a dish of soup in it and plugged it in. It seems to work amazing and forgive me for gloating, but I cannot wait to take it with me tomorrow and eat fresh hot food at my desk while my co-workers turn green with envy.I plan to keep this item at work, and carry my cold food in my lunch box as usual, heating it at work (because i carry a lot of other stuff in my lunch box as if it were a purse and still need that bag for it all). This is an amazing idea. So here's a swift kick in the shin to the A-Hole who will not submit a request for a stupid microwave for the nine people who eat cold sandwiches every day while he leaves site to go eat good food. I wish I could infest his chair with lice.

Best thing I’ve ever bought
And I bought it just about three years ago and used it virtually daily. I use it for heating prepared, refrigerated “meal plan” meals because cooking for one person is a bore. I’ve used it with Freshly, Top Chef, CookUnity and Factor meals and it’s worked perfectly for them all including CookUnity which uses compressed paper rather than plastic trays. I can put a refrigerated meal in this, it’s a perfect dinner temperature in 1.5-2.0 hours but does not overheat or overcook because once it hits 158 (safe holding temperature)it maintains your food at that temperature, nothing is ever dry and protein doesn’t turn to rubber. I’ve never had a tray melt but these prepared meal trays are oven safe; I do leave the plastic film in place. No microwave inconsistencies, no heating up the oven and completely set and forget. For the record, and the people who don’t understand how this works: the plate does heat up fast but it does not keep getting hotter, it stabilizes then holds your food at 158F. The time it takes to heat your food depends on whether you start with room temperature, refrigerated, or frozen food but in a standard tray, shallow container, or plate two hours should do it.

There isn’t a timer…
If you forget to unplug it, I guess it just keeps heating…
