Fits well and fully adjustable.
Very useful if you do a lot of hiking. I use it for work as well and it carries all my stuff very well.Edit February 22 2020.:This backpack has held up well. Having used it daily with an average weight around 40 pounds the only issue I came into was the support plug on the carrying handle forcing its way through the neck strap. It eventually poked a hole through the material and I removed it. I hand sewed the strap with black nylon thread about 4 months ago and it’s not broken since. The zippers have held up well. You need to be cautious about the weather stripping along the seams when you are zipping closed but feel comfortable knowing that once the pack has been broken in that it holds up very well. I’d still rate this pack the same as I did when I purchased it.

Great backpack for touring musicians
Touring musician. Took this bag on the road for 3 months of summer touring in 2019. Perfect backpack to fit a ton of clothes. The amount of the storage space is unbelievable especially when you unzip the expanding zipper. Great to take in and out of truck stops for showers/laundry, take into the venue for green room changing. Not a single tear or break from grueling traveling. Not “sturdy” in the sense of you could sit on it when full, but sturdy in the sense of durability.

Great Backpack Within Certain Uses
I lived out of this backpack for several months. It is deceptively large when expanded, and I could fit a few changes of clothes including light winter wear, a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, cooking pot, and a few other things. With that it was completely packed full and sometimes annoying to take things out or change clothes. When fully packed the sides curve out and the attached straps offer very little space and theres no chance of strapping a tent or anything more than like a coat to the side, so I had to rig up a set up with straps that I bought and it was a pain to carry. The waist straps also did not work for me, could not tighten nearly enough. It is also durable and withstood a fair amount of being tossed around.IN SHORT:It is a great backpack for any kind of short or casual trip, comfortable to carry as long as its not crazy heavy, lots of space, low profile. But definitely not a serious camping backpack because you will not be able to fit all your gear, clothes, and food.

Very roomy and sturdy, high volume and weight capacity- great bag!
I walk and bike for my main form of transportation. I use a backpack to carry things like library books and my groceries home. I love this bag because it is roomy to begin with, but with it fully expanded it has a massive capacity. I can carry home a watermelon, gallon of milk and multiple meals worth of foods and snacks and there is still room for my work laptop and all the regular purse stuff. When it is not expanded it is still quite big, but doesn't look or feel massive when you are wearing it. It feels sturdy. The shoulder straps are secure and don't feel like they're at risk when carrying heavy loads. I carry probably at least 50+ pounds in mine sometimes. The clips at the side help to secure the load inside the bag too. There is a chest strap that I can see would help keep heavy loads on your body, but I never remember to use it.

Great backpack but pay attention to size!
I had a hard time getting a good sense of scale from the pictures. This thing is huge! Trying to get it to hold its shape for a picture required filling it with THREE couch pillows and a blanket, and they weren't squeezed in at all. My son would be able to put all his books in there sideways like they were on a bookshelf.Despite the massive size of the bag overall, the pocket that I thought was holding a MacBook in the picture was actually holding a standard 10" iPad and can't fit the 13" laptops issued by our school. Also note that the front two pockets are basically flat. About 1.5" depth for the two pockets combined. That's pretty typical for front pockets, but there is no structure at all to the rest of the pack, just one enormous pocket. It does have elastic straps to keep things from shifting, but that's it.This backpack definitely isn't a school bag - even for high schoolers without lockers - but I think we'll be keeping it for scout camping trips. If the manufactures happen to see this: a smaller version that worked for school but also had the expansion feature to make extra room on days you need to take gym clothes or a lunch would be amazing!

Awesome pack - Love the way it opens up for huge storage space...
Use this on my motorbike - great for carrying work laptop, some books, keys, wallet, rain gear and more - added some Velcro to the face of the pack above the MOLLE strips, but other than its been great. very well made and you can really cinch it down small.... for days when im taking a bunch of stuff this bag is awesome.!! totally recommend!

A traveler must have!
Just received today. I was a little worried with some of the reviews but I'm happy to say this bag appears to be of good quality. All stitching was in order. One zipper is a little stiff but I think will ok with some use. Tons of space. I opted for no waist belt. I just packed it and have two pants, 7 shirts, one dress, wet wipes, meds, battery pack, snacks, and haven't even used the expander!!! Anyone who travels must have.
