Large Leaves
This loose green tea is delightfully fresh and flavorful. When brewed, the leaves expand and make a great cup of tea. There’s no/to little powdery residue. I reorder as soon as my stash gets low so I never run out. That it’s organic is an extra bonus.

Excellent
I like the taste. I’ve bought what’s probably the same grade of dragonwell from several companies and I keep coming back to this, it’s my favorite. You can pay more for higher grades of tea and it will taste different than this. Better than this? That’s up to you. For this grade of tea it’s the best I’ve found. I actually like it better than the highest grade of dragonwell.

Not tea leaves, but stems
I was super excited when i found this “Premium Dragon Well” on Amazon. I thought I can finally buy my favorite tea from US instead of asking friends to mail me from China, which is impossible now due to the Coronavirus pandemic. But, sadly, this tea is a bust. It should have silky, intact (almost intact) tea leaves, but all I see is lots , lots of stems, some stems have a little bit of leave attached. This is not what “Premium Dragon Well” supposed to look like, the picture shown on the product listing is. However the real product does NOT look anything close to that picture. As a matter of fact, any tea, cheap or expensive, shouldn’t have that much of stems in it.

Classic and excellent green tea...
I love this stuff along side the Gyokuro Japanese green tea. To me, it has more of the 'classic green tea' flavor that I really enjoy, and you get quite a lot of this product for what you pay (as opposed to the Gyokuro). The standards apply, of keeping the water not too hot, not too much tea to steep, and then 2-3 minutes per... but this stuff is a little less sensitive if you forget about it for a few minutes or even put very hot water on it. It's a 'must have' if you're looking to step up your green tea experience.

Not as good as from other vendors
We used to buy Dragon Well - our favorite green tea - from the local Asian Grocery store. It was very good both in taste and aroma. At some point they ran out of it, so we bought our next batch from Teavana store. That one was excellent too. Then the price of Dragon Well sold by Tealyra on Amazon seduced us to buy from them, and now we are not sure whether it was a wise move. Using both the same water and the same techniques we obtained different result: the Dragon Well tea from Tealyra lacks both in taste and aroma in comparison with previous two batches purchased from other vendors. We will pass on buying that tea from Tealyra Tealyra - Premium Dragon Well - Long Jing - Green Tea - Loose Leaf Tea - First Grade - Organically Grown - 8-Ouncein the future.
