I like this filter and the fact it's made in USA and NO this type of filter or anything like this won't change the PPM (parts per million) of the water, you have to have a RO (reverse osmosis) system to change the ppm of water, so if your water is 500 ppm, it's gonna be 500 coming out of this filter minus whatever this filter filters out ..(such as lead, chlorine, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs)etc

This is the second order I've had of these, and have now used all of them. Had a problem with one of the six. When I installed it, it developed a leak very quickly (same or next day), but was very slight so didn't really notice right away. Re-installed it, but leak persisted, so replaced it with another new one. Leak gone. Used the last one just the other day, and so far no leak. Five out of six is not great, but not too bad, considering the price compared to the competition. Water taste is fine and have had no other problems.,

Have been using these for several and I suppose they're doing what they claim to do (how does one even measure that, you know to verify the claims).Well, recently one of these filters leaked at installation. Second time that's happened. I buy a 3-pack so just put another one in. No leaks.Just make sure to keep checking for leaks -frequently- for at least a week.

Easy to install. I've used this brand before and would recommend it.

Saved a lot of money buying these filters over the original manufacturers filters. Easy to install and we can not detect any difference in taste or water quality.
