Good workmanship but missing the 3 drone Reeds which is nearly a $100 investment. Bagpipes will not play with good reeds!

Save your money and spend it on a nice chanter instead. This thing is a rip off and most of the reviews including this one say it doesn’t even work you will spend money for a return so don’t do it.

If you want wall ornamentation, this is a set of pipes which will fit the bill.As far as being actually playable....Definitely not right out of the box. After replacing all three drone reeds and the chanter reed with decently made synthetics and seasoning the bag (these changes costing about what the pipes themselves did), I managed to get sound out of them, which, while not terrible, was somewhat akin to the quality one might expect from a thrift-store guitar with a warped neck and cracked back in comparison to a midrange Martin.

Do not waste any money on this product. The pipes do not come assembled and the parts are cheaply made and disappointing. I would not recommend buying any bagpipes from Amazon. Research a reputable bagpipe maker and spend the money.

This is FRAUD. These are worthless - less than ZERO STARS. Watch video by Matt Hollis “DIY Bagpipe Playing” for specifics. Mine were sent by an apparently fictitious company named Athletin, Inc., 16270 Jurupa Lane, Suite 200, Fontana, California. The business located there that answers the phone is a food distribution business who have never heard of Athletin, Inc. That company name btw is up for sale by a web design company.I’ve contacted my state’s Attorney General Consumer fraud office regarding the sale of these bagpipes.

Poor quality, reeds will come apart, improperly drilled. I do not recommend this product. It will need to be worked on to get it to work properly if you order this! Don't do it!

If you want a display bagpipe, this is your wall hanging. It is an unusable very expensive decoration. It does not play properly, if at all, and is so poorly made, it's basically not worth your money as an actual instrument. So disappointed.
