Is it possible to manage the frame remotely? We have an elderly parent who will just want to see pictures. How much can we manage remotely?

This is exactly why I bought the frame. My Mom is 90 and has no desire to learn computers, but was feeling left out with all the kids and grand kids sharing photos all the time.Yes, you can set it up to log in to the frame from your device and add, delete, change settings, pretty much anything the frame can do you can manage remotely. You can set a time for the frame to come on and a time for it to go off. New photos automatically show on the frame. You can go in from time to time and delete old photos if you want, all remotely. So far so good with the Pix-Star. Kodak...not so much.

as good as kodak pulse?

I bought my dad a kodak pulse over eight years ago and it has run with no problems. My kids bought me the pix star frame not quite 4 years ago and it has stopped working. I bought the pix star frame for my kids last year at christmas and it is disappointing to think that their frames could stop working in just 4 years. Of course the warranty is only good for 3 yrs. I am very disappointed. The price of the pix star is double to what I paid for the kodak pulse. Customer service has been very good. They are sending me a new cord to see if that is the problem but they don't think that will fix the problem. They are willing to sell me a new frame. LOL

YES it is 4:3. The actual viewing area of the screen is 8.3x6.2 inch (211x158 mm) it's a 10.4 inch diagonal screen. The Pix-Star Customer Support Team.

Power supply? 220 or 110 or both?

It runs on both (110/220...50/60 hz).I sent one to my mother in Germany and all it takes is a Euro adapter.
