This book really sheds a strong light on the technologies and subsistence of Clovis folks in the Central Texas region. A must for experimental archaeologists and anybody else wanting to see how to document a site.

The information deals with a part of the famous Gault site in central Texas. For the first time Professional Archaeologists, and a team of students, came upon sealed context from the Clovis period. The book, completely evaluates the evidence, from two sealed layers of Clovis tool and biface manufacture. I have known that work was being done at Gault, for several years, but had no idea that it would be this important, or well done. more please!

THis book was well done. Presented a lot of good information about clovis technology. This something that there is a lot of question that need to be answered but some may never be answered. I think DR. Waters is one of the leading indidivuals in this field. The book was easy to read more on a average indidivual's level.
