Only 1 Mandrel. Pic displayed 4. I got got. My fault.
Dammit! The pic got me! Only one shipped but picture displays 4 (four) Dremel 402 Mandrels. For $8, I wouldn't have expected just one mandrel. But alas, I didn't scroll down to "Product Information." Reminds me of dirty pool.As for quality, product is solid. I have no concerns there. It was encased in Dremel packaging.

worked as advertised
The picture shows 5 so I thought I was buying 5. After getting it I looked and had checked the box for 1. I hate getting older! otherwise the shaft works well. I got it for the Dremmel cutting wheels. They were a tight fit and didn't spin. I was able to put a decent amount of pressure without issues

Just makes things easier when you have spares. It has a very small screw if you know Dremel
Its Dremel so I just need a spare after many years. I should have bought several on day one. Then swapping cutting wheels, buffing wheels etc all have a dedicated mandrel. I makes the tasks move ahead faster if you aren't swapping out the tiny screw all the time. Anothe choice when using carbide cutting wheels is to set to 3 or 4 so you can just replace them for the next job after you finish what you were doing.

Takes forever to arrive
This is something that works well with my dremmel. It just took forever to get to me. Perhaps it is in great demand because it works so well with all of my bits.

Works as advertised
As with anything Dremel-branded, the price is high but it works. I've learned to use a screwdriver to loosed and tighten the screw.

Still the best
A good replacement for my 1980's era mandrel that was working fine until I lost the screw. It's ever-so-slightly different, as an improvement to the old model. Works great!
