The media could not be loaded. I purchased this Gear Pro for my 13 year old son, who kept asking for a Go Pro. I could not see myself paying that kind of money, so I wanted to get him a camera that was lighter on my pocket but that would still be good for his age. Needless to say at this point he LOVES it. He likes the color, and that it came with handle bar & helmet attachment, water proof case, and a clip. Everything works fine straight from the box, he has taken pictures, video, and submerged it into the water. I ordered him a 16GB SD micro card and it gave him almost 1,000 pictures and over 3 hours of recording time. The camera is easy to attach to the attachments and overall is easy to use. There are only a few buttons, which makes it that much easier to use and handle. If you are like me and looking for something cheaper and still similar to a go pro, especially for a child I would recommend this camera. The price is definitely right!! I am very happy with my purchase and that my son is happy and enjoys the camera.

I was expecting more but received much less. This was a Christmas gift from my wife and I won't tell her my thoughts, don't wan to upset her. I followed the instructions to the letter in setting it up, first going back to the store to buy the needed micro SD card that was not included. Anyway, when I started the camera up and to charge the internal battery via my laptop the screen turned a blue then green mess of blinking nonsense then froze up for 4 hours till the battery finally died. I read the booklet again to make sure it was not "ME" doing or missing a step. Second time, same thing again. On the third try, bingo it worked. Can't rave about the pictures or the movie mode. I was hopping to use this on my motorcycle to record patriot guard rider missions, not so much. I guess you get what you pay for. I ordered a "Go-Pro and waiting it's arrival soon.

Could NEVER be worth $200.00.And DO NOT depend on this camera to shoot one time only events (bring a backup, and NOT another one of these)All in all, I use this as a back up to our Go-Pro Hero's. Mounts need to be tightened well beyond hand strength. Be sure to secure the camera other than the suction mount (we use guy wires)Just good enough to be our sacrificial camera during our 427 Cobra runs.

Two reviews I read were good. One review was bad. Mine is the excellent one. The camera is very small. I can mount it the bill of my cap for jogging. I can display the recordings on a large computer screen and still see it very well. I mount it in my car to go anywhere . As a security guard, I turn my patrol car on and off all night and the camera turns on and off without me touching it when set to vehicle mode. The recordings roll over about ever 20 minutes because you can't roll over 32 gig. When the SD is full it rolls over the earliest recording. If you set to straight video mode it records about 3/4 of my 1hr 5min jog, about 4.5 gig. When SD is full it quits. I've rigged dozens of cameras for these purposes. This is the best yet.

This probably isn't the fault of the store but someone must have returned this item already broken and I bought it and it was broken. It's unfortunate because when I was younger I had same camera and it worked flawlessly. This just wasn't the case. I bought this camera specifically to mount underneath my truck so that I can find and pin point a noise that I'm hearing on the highway... But it never turned on even if I charged it all day it wouldn't turn on. The company took it back no questions asked and I commend them on that and I will give them a higher rating because of it.

Ok, so I wasn't expecting a GoPro Hero of any kind, but I thought it would at least be suitable for a novice spearfisherman such as myself. TWO DIVES before the "waterproof" case started leaking and FOUR Dives before it failed all together. I'm attempting to dry it in rice right now as that worked the last time. Things happen, I am more than understanding of that I feel, after the first leaking incident I emailed this seller asking if it was something I was doing wrong (yes I know to rinse everything off after being in saltwater) or if I could get the case replaced as the camera survived. And not even a message back to tell me tough $hit at the very least. Big waste of $48, got the protection plan, at least I know Amazon will take care of me because this seller apparently isn't going to. Thanks for Nothing.

This 'Gear Pro' is a great camera. It shots 5MP 720P ONLY. It is the low end of HD with only 5MP but works great and the touch screen/playback is perfect to make sure you get the right shot. It also takes 5, 3 and 1MP stills. I love the feel and size of the camera, especially the color. It comes with all types of mounts and a waterproof case, which isn't 100% water proof. It lets in some water, but a minimal amount. I still love it. But I got it mainly for that and am a bit disappointed there but not anywhere else. It is super fun for someone who wants to have fun making videos with friends for a small price. GET THE BASIC WARRANTY just in case. Don't spend more than 50$ for one, or else your getting ripped off.
