Amicelli Chocolate Covered Wafers with Hazelnut Filling

I accidentally found this Amicelli chocolate wafers when I had a coffee in Munich International Airport. The taste of this kind of chocolate wafers was quite impressive, hard to forget. After coming back to the US, right a way I ordered a box of Amicelli chocolate covered wafers with Hazelnut filling to have the same experience again, on the combination of the chocolate wafers and the coffee. I could tell, the sweetness of this wafer was just right if your coffee was sugar-free. The wafer was very crispy even though the filling and the chocolate cover were wet. Finally, the flavor of Hazelnut was just in a right amount, perfect with very aromatic coffee like Illy coffee. Because the chocolate wafers are too perfect, I ask my friends having trips in Europe to bring several boxes back to me. LOL

Growing up in Germany I used to love these. I can't get them here in the states and honestly had forgotten about them. Then my coworker brought some as a souvenir to me. I was hooked once again. Went straight to Amazon and ordered some. Shopping takes off course longer as they are shipped from Europe but it's well worth the wait. I hide them from my kids- yes I'm that mom lol. They are the perfect light afternoon snack

item was expired on Feb 2017 (It arrived in March 2017) and a new label was put to cover the BB date and extend it to Jun 2017

The best chocolate I ever had and it is produced by the same company that once upon a time produced, wait for it ........ Fanfare! (It does taste at least 95% similar in taste to Fanfare).

Delicious only suggestion is that shipping in something that helps with it from melting.
