WHAT IS IT: Our Jessner's peel combines 14 percent salicylic acid, 14 percent lactic acid and 14 percent resorcinol. The peel ships to you in a 30ml (1fl oz) glass amber bottle. This amount will provide 8-10 full face peels. This is a 1.2 pH medium-level peel designed for experienced users, and is suitable for most skin types. Jessner's peels have a good track record with darker skin types that normally don't respond well to peeling. The lactic acid in this peel stays on the surface of the skin where it provides exfoliation. Lactic acids have been used for centuries to renew skin tone and texture. You can find low concentrations of lactic acid in honey, papaya and citrus fruit. Lactic Acid is an Alpha Hydroxy acid that helps encourage cell turnover and stimulates collagen formation while helping to smooth and soften the skin. Resorcinol provides antiseptic properties while helping to break up the glue that holds dead skin cells together. Resorcinol is an effective exfoliator that helps loosen the damaged skin layers to expose the new fresh skin beneath while also stimulating collagen to form. These ingredients combined effectively help smooth fine lines, acne, sun damage, dull skin, uneven complexion, age spots and superficial scarring. OTHER INFORMATION: The Jessner's Peel is a light to medium peel, the depth of which is controlled by the amount of time you leave it on your skin and the number of layers you use. This is a very safe peel and is suitable for all skin types, especially those with oily or acne prone skin. Some darker skin tones, particularly African American run a small risk of post peel hyper or hypo pigmentation. As with all products, a patch test is recommended to see how your skin reacts. Review: Very genuine and true-to-description product! - I am new to at home chemical peels, at least anything beyond percentages and concentrations that are more similar to strong chemical exfoliants being advertised and marketed as peels. With that being said I am a skeptical consumer and not easily impressed. After using this product today I feel very confident in backing it, and if you don't have a reaction to this product I would wager to guess you skipped using alcohol prior to application or did not do enough layers. I do not have very sensitive skin despite having taken high doses of accutane for six consecutive months a few years ago. I am a pretty oily person and am already back to starting to have extremely congested skin and clogged pores which is why I have decided I need to do a series of chemical peels to give my skin a purging period to refresh it. I did three layers and I can say I definitely frosted and I think I may have a high pain tolerance but beside a mild burning/stinging sensation it really wasn't too bad and it was NOT the kind of stinging where I can tell whatever I am using might not be good for my skin. It felt more like when you are putting aloe vera on a sunburn, and it's what my skin looked like during application and after which is actually what everything says I should expect. I frosted as well. It feels like it definitely is effective without being unpredictable or caustic, for example i have little picking marks where the skin is broken and it didn't burn them or anything. I will try to remember to update this review after a week to let you guys know if I peel or not. Also as another reviewer stated, the seller seems really sweet and takes pride in maintaining customers which is evident in the thoughtful packaging and cute little freebie microdermabrasion crystals and the very coherent and thorough instructions for the peel. UPDATE---DAY two and I can definitely tell my skin is going to peel nicely like it should in a sheet. I only applied this to my forehead, and ignore my crazy eyebrows. I stupidly decided to dye them post-peel. First pic is forehead relaxed, second is crinkled. You can tell all of that skin will come off in a nice even way. My forehead does not ever look crinkly like that, normally. Very happy!! Review: The review YOU’VE been LOOKING for…and the chemical peel we’ve ALL been searching for - An AMAZING jessners chemical peel has entered the chat, Okay!! I have a dark brown complexion, normal skin type but I have texture, hyperpigmentation, and acne scarring on cheeks I’ve been working on. I watched a few videos of others using this exact brand on the clock app & I was impressed w/ end results and amount of peeling. I did my research on how to properly apply the peel beforehand plus I’ve had 5 peels previously so I knew my pain tolerance, etc. They also send you precise instructions, do’s and dont’s, 1 gauze pad and free microdermabrasion beads! I applied 4 layers with 4 minute intervals (because I wanted to put the capital P in PEEL LLL) but now I realize the usual 3 layers with 5min intervals should be just as potent because this peel is SPICY and did not come to play ANY games. Previous peels have started tingling a few minutes after the 2nd layer after but within 30 seconds of applying the FIRST layer I could feel the spiciness and it meant business . I was pleased!! Also, I’m only speaking on *My* preference please follow precise instructions and/or what works best for You as I am a DIY girlie, not a professional. Currently on day 4 of peeling, there’s medium/heavy peeling, no unexpected side effects, the new skin showing looks amazing and soft. My only complaint is not being able to be outdoors on sunny days but it’s worth the end result I give this Skin Obsession jessner’s peel a 10 out of 10 for affordability, customer service, and desired effects for chemical peel. They’ve gained a loyal customer! Now that I know of this company, I’ll be ordering directly from them on their website as they offer free shipping! I love, love, LOVE this brand. This is clearly your cue to buy this brand. Happy Peeling!!

I like using it
It is my second time I am buying this peel. I have not tried jessner from any other brand but I like how this one works. I do pre-work described in instructions. Degrease face with 70 % rub. Alcohol and then use peel. First pic is my second round with a month interval. You see results of 3 layers with 5 min intervals and vaseline on sensitive areas. It does not peel on me in big skin patches but results are still good. For regular night routine I use cleaner, bha then aha serums, CeraVe moisturizer with aveni very dry skin moisturizer as finish. Sometimes do massage with Wahl massager and round cup as final step.

Jessner Peel 🩷
First things first, I have not used this peel YET (I just had my lips done so I have to wait another week) , But I have a friend that HAS & her results were amazing enough to make me spend my little coin lol •This product comes with enough for 8/10 uses. •Comes WITH instructions (okayyy Skin Obsession!!!) •Comes with a sample • Make sure you follow instruction sheet TO A T for maximum, best results. • This peel is a combination of 14% Salicylic Acid, 14% Lactic Acid & 14% Resorcinol I did my first peel & I had no peeling. About 6 months later I attempted this peel again. THIS TIME?! I’m peeling lol I’m so happy & excited for the results. I only did 1 layer, & let set for about 3 mins. Neutralized with baking soda & water. Aftercare for myself: Mugwort essence Clearstem Cellrenew serum Oat so simple water cream Squalane oil OR laroche cicaplast balm b5

Did not peel
OK first, I just turned 57 at the end of July, I am a white female that has very oily skin with very large pores and also have some acne scaring but not too bad. I have been doing a 40% Glycolic or 30% Salicylic peel every week for a couple of months now and have also done 1 15% TCA peel just around my mouth because I have lip lines and very large pores on my chin, I was too afraid to do my entire face with the TCA, I didn't feel I had enough experience yet with the peels but it turned out well so next time I will do my entire face. Anyway, I had heard that the Jessner peel was a good peel and can be just as good a TCA peel but much less pain so I did my research and settled on this peel. Now I am not saying this peel is good or bad because I am no expert on peels by any means, I am just sharing my experience. First I washed my face with Neutrogena gel soap then used 90% alcohol to degrease, I applied the first layer and it stung a little but not too bad. I waited for 5 minutes then applied a second layer, now I will say a do have a very high tolerance for pain and the second layer did sting a little more, I waited 5 minutes and did the third layer. It was stinging but I could tolerate a lot more but decided to stop there because I had never done this peel before. I neutralized with water and baking soda and my face was very red and shiny so I thought this was going to be a great peel. I put aloe vera gel on my face and also Cerave cream. From there applied aloe vera gel and face cream for days taking good care of my face also with 30+ SPF l, I am on day 5 now and have not peeled and doubt I will this far out. I really don't see any positive changes in my skin yet so I don't know if this peel is going to turn out to be a good peel for my skin or not. I will say with all the research I did it was my expectation that I would peel and did not. I realize each person as their own unique experience so next time I think I'll try to do five to seven layers and see what happens then. If anybody has any comments about this to let me know if I did anything wrong or what I can do to make it better please do. As far as my review, I will say not what I expected, like I said I expected to peel.

Good product
It’s a good product. The only issue is that you have to use this multiple times to get the results that you’re most likely looking for.

Frosting
Finally had time for self care. I cleaned my face with aveeno sensitive skin and alcohol. Allowed the alcohol to dry, came back 2 minutes later and applied the product with a Gauze pad. It was a burning sensation for about 5 minutes, the cool blow dryer helped relieve the burning, after the first layer dried, this was the "frosting" result. My skin had a really bad break out from hormonal acne so my hopes are to lighten these dark spots and get some sort of control on preventing future break outs. I applied 2 layers and followed up with Cerave moisturizer and "Brown Girl" sunscreen. My skin is currently tight and still a little red and tender (to be expected). I also brought a misting facial sunscreen for when it starts to peel. Be sure to keep your hair off your face during the process. Especially Brown women cause we have oils and different products in our hair.

Great peel
As an esthetician for 15 years my go to peels were always Miami peel which requires an esthetician lic to order , I wasn’t a fan of hydroquinone which lightens the skin. This is a great at home peel with strength and I’m a fan of it , did 2 layers today frosted at the 1st layer.. now I’d like to see the results after 2 layers and see how well it works .. peeling is gradual progress but should see results from the 1st peel gradually … def reccomend UPDATE = did 2 treatments 3rd coming in 2 weeks - I love the results , it works and I still highly recommend. I would suggest 3-6 session spaced 2 weeks apart at 3 layers ( if you can handle more layers great. 5 should be max layers. And def neutralize with baking soda / water = paste. Sunscreen * must *
