I have had one of these I got from my wife's sewing materials. I use it to store small tools like bits, blades... It has knocked around in my tool box for years and I decided I could use a couple more of these. They are the best. They don't break or shatter , the latch is solid and won't pop open.

Sturdy little case! Mine is still intact, clip & hinge. No cracks, not warped. I will say, I am not somebody that's rough on things, but I do toss it into my project bag and it travels with me.Comes with two dividers, I only used one. Holds all the little things I need which includes small tape measure, small scissors, 3 cable needles, set of (small) stitch fixer crochet hooks, needle protectors and stitch markers. Holds much more than I thought it would when I read the description. I'm quite happy with my purchase.

Best bits:Real two-part hinges that will last a good long time.A clasp that is not part of the container's mould.Movable dividers.Super small footprint.Those top two in my list... they're easy to forget when you're surfing around Amazon at 100mph. Most containers on this site have a living hinge and clasp. That's when the hinge and clasp are part of the mould of the container... "scored" to bend and flex. This means that their lifespan is limited and they are destined for a landfill - before they leave the factory. Flexible plastic gets brittle over time - so you get like 1,000 bends on those before "snap" and now it is useless. There should be a fourth "R" when it comes to plastics/garbage... (besides "recycle, reuse, reduce...") and that would be "responsible engineering."I use these mostly for board games... They are small enough to fit in the box (usually) and yet also one could put them on the table as an organized means of distribution - by which I mean - you're not dumping the tokens out of here and into a bowl... you just open the container and leave it out for your fellow players to pull from. The size of the compartments is large enough that it isn't hard to get stuff out of them.Long story short, buy these. Stop buying the fall-apart kind.

I received this box in 2 days time. The box is very strong and well made, it has four (4) compartments with horizontal removeable dividers. The latch is very strong and secure, very possibly water tight. The outside measurements are 6 in. long, 2 3/4 in. wide and 1 1/4 in. deep. The inside dimensions are 5 in. long, 2 5/16 in. wide, and 1 in. deep. The lid fits down over the box when closed. I give these dimensions because when I inquired about the measurements, no one had an answer. The hinge protrudes 1/4 in. past the end of the box. This box is a Plano product and is true to the Plano quality products. I will buy it again.Bob

I had searched and searched for containers like this for ages. I'm not sure why it was so hard to find. I'm using it in my tool box to hold screws and nails. I love that it's adjustable, it would work great for so many different uses. I also love that it holds a lot but is still small enough to fit in my tool box. I'm going to order another one for nuts and tacks and what not. It will fit right on top of the one I already have. I may just order a bunch of them, it's such a perfect size, it would work in my sewing box and craft box and for jewelry and on and on and on. It also seems sturdy and like it will hold up just fine.

I have many of these boxes and I find using them for many different needs. They are very sturdy and the latch is great, keeps the box securely closed. I highly recommend the quality. The sad part is that I found this item being sold in a local arts & craft store for $1.79 each and that was not a sale price.

These are really helpful little boxes. I use them for storing smaller components, such as crimp beads, jumprings, and clasps. I can fit them in drawers around my larger boxes, and they fit sideways in some of the larger boxes. (Until my boxes got too full). It's nice because I can see through the tops and know which one I need to grab for my crimp beads, etc. I ordered one, and I've ordered two more since. At first I wasn't sure how useful they'd be, but I really love them.

I use this to store my metal detecting finds and it's very small and compact and fits in my pocket. I love this little thing and I've purchased three of them. Very nice product.

Muy buena calidad de plástico, el broche cierra firmemente, se pueden retirar las divisiones para compartimentos más grandes. Por cierto, es pequeño, casi como pastillero, puedes guardar pequeños objetos que no quieres perder.

The media could not be loaded. Cuando llegó lo primero que hice fue meterle pilas AA y dejarlo caer desde aproximadamente 1.50 metros para probar si sería resistente. Los resultados fueron decepcionantes, al primer impacto se le hizo la grieta de la primera imagen, después hice lo que se ve en el video y vaya que no era lo que esperaba.Pensaba usar esta caja para transportar mis pilas AA recargables al salir de vacaciones, pero es claro que no puedo confiar en que mis baterías sean protegidas por esta caja al estar dentro de una mochila junto con otro equipaje en el carro, la caja se haría pedazos y mis baterías quizá dejarían de funcionar.Por lo menos hubieran puesto una advertencia de que la caja es frágil, porque no parece. Es una lástima ya que el tamaño es precisamente el que permite guardar pilas AA con facilidad y comodidad junto con sus separadores desmontables, solo por eso no lo dejo en 1 estrella.
