Strategic Planning Kit for Dummies Paperback – March 12, 2018

This my first attempt at strategic planning for my church. This book did a great job outlining the process. It includes a section directed at non-profits. Very helpful, because some of the chapters that were architected around for-profit companies were difficult to apply. Also, I like that the book outlined steps to get started, develop a plan, and execute it.

Very practical. It helped me greatly while I was writing my MBA thesis and doing a consulting project at a hospital. It is a very hands-on approach. It is perfect for the MBA student who has to get her hands dirty with some field work and needs help translating classwork into practice. It might be a bit insufficient for those expecting a highly academic book.

The book was well written and have a ton of good information. Good approach and methodology towards developing corporate strategies. A must-read book for C-staff. I would have given it a 5 star but it also lacked good corporate samples.

Very good book. Its more than a book, since the CD has the forms you need on it. This was exactly what I needed as it walks you through the process of strategic planning step-by-step. Its written in an understandable way but not overly simplistic.

Good book some good thoughts

It's an amazing read. I bought this book for my friend who is pitching to investors for their involvement. Well I have an MBA and this book is right on with the material a Strategic Plan should include. I returned mines because she had purchased it too and hers came first.

Still great for today’s market, although some updates could be added & electronic download for Mac users.

Good information: I bought the kindle version of this book. I really should have bought the book which comes with a CD that would be helpful.
