BERG Buddy B-Orange Unisex Children's Pedal Go-Kart

I bought this for my son at Christmas. Highly recommend. The quality is second to none and assembly very easy. It’s heavy weight and paintwork quality is lovely. My son is 7 and has the seat on the last run, and he can pedal and navigate round the place fast and easily he loves it. So glad i bought it.

Worth paying a little more for something like this. Will never fall apart like some of the budget versions available. Easy for my 5 year old son to operate and it’s sturdiness makes me confident that he’s safe using it. Many passers by comment on it!

Absolutely fantastic go-kart, solid piece of kit, which assembles very easily.We bought for a 5yr old who is using the seat on the middle setting, which leaves plenty of room for him to grow!Tires are very grippy, turn too fast and the kart will flip, as it gains speed pretty quick!!Frame is robust, the bright paintwork makes it easily seen on the street!Considered an adults one, it looks that good and fun!!

This looks like a really good go kart, very sturdy and well-constructed. My son really likes it but we've only had it a week so we shall see. One thing that this go kart doesn't have though is a brake! So when he goes downhill he has no way of slowing down, as I live somewhere hilly this is going to be an issue as he is only 5. If I was buying a go kart again I would definitely get one with a braking system. I read loads of reviews by the way online (not Amazon) and this was always recommended for my son's age group but not one of them mentioned the lack of a brake.

There are "children's pedal go-karts" … and there are "Berg children's pedal go-karts". The Berg go-karts are in a class of their own. They are certainly not cheap but build quality and materials are outstanding and I fully expect ours to take years of hard punishment before it's grown out of … and then it will be passed on for another child to enjoy.Speed, agility and basic fun factor is way higher than with any battery powered toy alternative.Very happy with my purchase.

From opening the box the pictogram instructions were on the top with all the tools & fasteners. The instructions gave you an unpacking and placement order prior to any assembly instructions. This then made assembly so much quicker & easier. In total it took 25 mins including adjustment to seat & steering wheel position to suit driver. We then did a 20 minute driver acclimatisation & shake down. Driver approved after getting used to steering, brake/s forward neutral & reverse gear. His first fixed wheel with over run! They even put Air in the tyres to the correct pressure.

Perfect all three kids use it as seat is easily adjustable. Hours of fun!!
