BERG Buddy B-Orange Unisex Children's Pedal Go-Kart

Absolutely fantastic go-kart, solid piece of kit, which assembles very easily. We bought for a 5yr old who is using the seat on the middle setting, which leaves plenty of room for him to grow! Tires are very grippy, turn too fast and the kart will flip, as it gains speed pretty quick!! Frame is robust, the bright paintwork makes it easily seen on the street! Considered an adults one, it looks that good and fun!!

I bought this for my son at Christmas. Highly recommend. The quality is second to none and assembly very easy. It’s heavy weight and paintwork quality is lovely. My son is 7 and has the seat on the last run, and he can pedal and navigate round the place fast and easily he loves it. So glad i bought it.

There are "children's pedal go-karts" … and there are "Berg children's pedal go-karts". The Berg go-karts are in a class of their own. They are certainly not cheap but build quality and materials are outstanding and I fully expect ours to take years of hard punishment before it's grown out of … and then it will be passed on for another child to enjoy. Speed, agility and basic fun factor is way higher than with any battery powered toy alternative. Very happy with my purchase.

This looks like a really good go kart, very sturdy and well-constructed. My son really likes it but we've only had it a week so we shall see. One thing that this go kart doesn't have though is a brake! So when he goes downhill he has no way of slowing down, as I live somewhere hilly this is going to be an issue as he is only 5. If I was buying a go kart again I would definitely get one with a braking system. I read loads of reviews by the way online (not Amazon) and this was always recommended for my son's age group but not one of them mentioned the lack of a brake.

Perfect all three kids use it as seat is easily adjustable. Hours of fun!!

Worth paying a little more for something like this. Will never fall apart like some of the budget versions available. Easy for my 5 year old son to operate and it’s sturdiness makes me confident that he’s safe using it. Many passers by comment on it!

This is built like a tank compared with the karts from China. Once you have tried a Berg you will not settle for less. I also write this in response to Anna Mc, a fellow reviewer, as she may not know that the brake for this kart is built inside the gear hub on the rear axle. To instantly slow the kart, push the brake pedal backwards slightly and it will come to a stop. No other control is needed so both hands stay on the steering wheel. I would also like to add that I have never been able to tip the kart even if I do a 180-degree turn suddenly. In fact, I think I cannot even lift a wheel. So this is the safest kart you can buy for your kid. It can also be stretched later if your kid grows too tall, or if you want to ride it with legs stretched. Just lengthen the kart at the central bar where it is screwed, and also the chain. Worth every cent!

Purchased this for my grandson's 2nd birthday. His Dad put it together and said it was relatively easy to assemble. This is a quality product, well built and should provide plenty of years of kid enjoyment. I just wanted to get him a nice pedal car, I remember I had a chain driven pedal car when I was a kid that I rode all of the time on the sidewalk. My grandson is a big kid, but is just able to reach the peddles. So, he hasn't been able to drive it around yet. we did have fun pushing him around while he steered! We figure 6 more months and he will be racing around. What I liked about it is you can pedal, coast without the pedals moving (like on a regular bike), reverse the pedals to stop and keep pedaling in reverse to go backwards. Also, you can adjust the seat as your kid gets taller. Overall I was really impressed with the product.
