Best CD Media I have used in 24 years
I have been burning CD media for 24 years, these Taiyo Yuden/Victor Advanced CDs sold under a JVC brand are the best I have used. Recommend for audio or data storage. If you think optical media is still the best long-term media storage option (it is) and you are looking for a CD format, this is for you. Silver lacquer backing. Keep clean, store properly and out of the sun and these will last. Zero coasters with over 140+ burns on these. I wish I had thought to find this sort of quality 15 years ago. In my opinion, worth the premium price. Made in Japan, not China!

The best of its kind
I have used this product in the past and was afraid that it would no longer be available. I was happy to have found these, as they are the absolute best in class. I have never had one fail. The only downside is that they did not come with a spindle, but fortunately, I had one from a previous purchase. Shipping was timely and the price was reasonable.

They work great except on my Cambridge CXC
These CDR's work great and sound really good on all but one of my CD players. They sound as good or better than the original CD's in my vehicles. I leave them in my vehicles and have no issues with degradation like some other CDR's. They do not work on my home system Cambridge CXC CD transport. The issues with the CD transport could be because these CDR's are not music CDR's with the music CD code. My transport is from a British company. It is still illegal to copy your CD's in the UK so they must have included programming in the transport to prevent Non-music CDR's from playing on it (even on their USA version transport). I would still buy them again because they are such good quality.

You might as well spend the extra money
I read bad reviews of Maxell, Sony, and Verbatim discs but decided to try the Maxells. In the first 20 CDs I encountered a 25% failure rate. Returned the Maxells and decided to pay the extra money to try these JVC discs. They claim to have the lowest error rate in the industry, and apparently that's true. I burned 20 of these and had a zero failure rate. Frankly, if you increase the price per CD to include the failure rate on the Maxells' ,(25%), and also figure the time wasted burning discs only to find they do not pass verification, these JVC discs are probably priced the same, or even a bit cheaper. Excellent product, I'm hooked!!

Product gives good performance over time
I bought a hundred-pack of these CDs ten years ago and used them exclusively in my Roland/Boss 1600 16-track recorder with 8 simultaneous recording tracks. They were excellent in service. I have not had one problem in recording them, and the recordings have held up over the years. Longevity and good service of these disks is important to me as I record at least a couple albums a year in my studio and I want my customers to be satisfied with the master I produce for them. No problem. I hope the company still maintains the quality control they could righteously claim in 2008.

Analog and smooth
Probably the most analog and smooth sounding blank CDs ive ever tried, every burn gave a consistent smoother with slightly warmish signature comparing to my other CDs! Noticeably less digital harshness during playback, and very musical without loss of detail. Very pleased with the quality of the CDs.But seriously, packaging from this seller could really use some improvement, my cds are rolling around in an oversized thin box with padding on 2 out of 4 sides. Gave me a heart attack when I saw cracks on the suppose to be new protective disc when I opened the box.

I can't use them
You should tell your customers that these are data discs . I bought the 100 pack and can't even use them ! your description said " will work in any cd burner " not true !
