Superb quality with perfect-fitting pieces. Large poster is particularly helpful since design is by nature fuzzy. Linen finish reduces glare too. Lovely puzzle!

This is one of the nicest quality puzzles I have ever seen. Because the image comes from a painting It is very difficult since similar colors are used across the canvas so if you like a challenge this is the one for you. I read some reviews that the colors are muted compared to the box but I completely disagree. It is a limited palette of colors but they are true to the box cover. The only criticism I have is that the poster-size reference picture was very clumsy but I solved that by hanging it in front of my work area.

Since March, in this year of COVID, I've done 17 thousand-piece puzzles and this one was the most difficult and the most rewarding. It took 16 days and about 45 hours. It is a fabulous painting and the pieces fit together beautifully in this quality puzzle. There is no horizon or buildings with straight lines, no line where the sea meets the shore or the sky as in many adult jigsaw puzzles. Nothing but beautiful, pastel colors blended together softly, subtly, dissolving from black to deep blue to dark brown to pale green over an inch or two across the surface. This puzzle demands strict attention to tiny detail. But, it is magnificent as it unfolds and a beautiful puzzle to those seeking more of a challenge than most adult jigsaws.

This is a quality puzzle, with good sized nice thick pieces that fit together well. There's a large poster sized reproduction of the painting, to guide one working the puzzle. Unfortunately, the image on the pieces has been somewhat blurred, giving what the maker calls a "linen" finish to reduce glare. Yes, it does that, but it mutes the images and given the impressionistic original picture, the image edges are not defined and colors are dull. I worked on it for several days and found it quite difficult. I love puzzles and work on 1,000 piece ones frequently, a lot more lately in the Covid induced stay at home situation. This was a frustrating endeavor, not much fun or relaxing. I don't mind difficulty, but this will be put aside to work on when life is less frustrating.

The artist's brush style made this puzzle extremely difficult to complete, but the puzzle itself was of high quality material with an excellent reproduction of the image. The full sized poster was very helpful -- almost essential.

Loved this puzzle and it’s maker. As happens sometimes with jigsaw puzzles, a piece was missing. I contacted the manufacturer and while they couldn’t provide the missing piece, they apologized for the problem and provided me with a new product of similar value from their website. I picked out a new puzzle and it arrived promptly. Thank you Peter Pauper Press!

I love puzzles and can put them together faster than most can so I always look for challenging ones. I must say this is probably the most difficult one I’ve ever worked on. I’m not complaining. In fact I’m going to order another puzzle from this company. The quality is excellent.

This puzzle was very challenging and was supposed to have 1000 pieces. I was very disappointed after working on it for 3 weeks to find it had missing pieces. I am very diligent in making sure I do not lose pieces accidentally.

This was tricky but rewarding. The puzzle is well made and you are not second guessing if pieces fit together or not. It comes with a poster which is very helpful.

Puzzle arrived later than expected but I was daily informed of its whereabouts and estimated delivery time. Puzzle is just as described and high quality.

Liked the picture - quite hard but well worth the effort. Only downside was that some pieces are very fragile with corners barely attached - used superglue to strengthen them.
