I recommend for those looking for a quality sub box for a decent price. Box does have a noticeable smell to it, nothing bad but it’s pretty strong. I was able to mount a small amp on the rear of the box. I haven’t had any issues in my few months of using. I have it installed in a 2022 Honda HRV connected to a kicker amp and a kicker 10” sub.

Sealed it before testing, but works great!
Before I purchased this, I read from a few one/two star reviews that some people had reported air leaks when an installed sub was in use, likely due to cheap or nonexistent sealant.SO, before adding my sub or testing the enclosure with a sub in it, I plentifully sealed the inner joints, as well as in between the enclosure and the input jack using clear silicone caulk.I let it dry for about 2 hours, and finally installed the sub. Certainly zero air leaks by the time I had tested it. If you’re concerned about build quality, I definitely wouldn’t be. The material used can reverberate quality bass frequencies properly and you should ideally always seal your enclosure before use to ensure that you don’t find yourself leaving an enclosure a poor review. It might be nice to receive a properly sealed box, but it is quite cheap and quick to seal a cheap, sturdy enclosure like this one to be sure you have quality audio.Cheers!

Great box for the money.
Got this box and put a Type R SWR-10D2 in it and it will thump like you want it to. Bought 2 alpine amps to power it to 1000 RMS and Wow. This box bevels one way and they put a logo on it in the bottom right corner.. I prefer to put this box flat on it's back instead of facing the trunk so I kind of hate the logo because I want to mount my speaker reverse with the writing in the opposite direction. It just looks like an upside down emblem compared to the writing on my sub. Many people will however A:be less picky and B: mount the box the way it looks in the posted image on the right and have no problems. This box has epoxy on it and hasn't leaked air at all. The channel hookups haven't melted on me at 1000 rms @ 2 ohms so that end of the bargain worked out well. Nice looking box. The speaker fit like a glove in there and I seriously wish this box was here 10 years ago when I paid 4 times the money for something similar. I thought I was going to have to buy some epoxy or caulk and get this air tight but I was way wrong. I will have this box for quite sometime and if I need more bass I will get another box to match it!

0.67 Net Cubic Feet, what this means / good for a shallow sub.
What is Net cubic feet? It's air space (vb Internal area cu ft). So if your sub requires say 0.59 vb, this box is too small because it is "0.67 Net cubic feet" once you add the sub it takes up the space required and is no-longer 0.67. You need to find your sub's "displacement value". Mine is 0.070, so you would add 0.070+0.67 = the internal air space you need. (0.74)-- yes I bought the wrong box LOL, I should have looked for one that was 0.74-0.80 "sealed box"Other than that, this box is very well built. I would recommend replacing the terminals with better ones and learning the different sounds you get from sealed vs ported boxes.

It sounds good, but I had a couple of issues
Box is just ok. It sounds good, but I had a couple of issues. When I got the sub mounted, I pushed the cone and there were severe air leaks in the box. The first leak was the extremely cheap terminal on the side. It was free flowing air through the cup, mostly the spring terminals themselves. I swapped it out with a plate, but still had an air leak. I finally figured out that they had a 3/4" datto cut for the side board, but the scrap board they used wasn't quite 3/4", so they laminated it with another board that looked like 1/8" thick. When the sub would depress, the air would go into the cutout for the terminal cup, go between the layers of wood, then come out from the joint at the corner. I never got it sealed 100%, but it is close. It really does have a solid 1" mdf face board, which made for a super sturdy sub mount and homemade speaker grille mount.

Great with slight mod
First off I will say that I have read all the reviews and was a bit hesitant about buying this instead of making my own as I have always done in the past. Now:Quality it fairly good for a prefab box. Well sealed and very nice and clean joints. Glue was present in all interior seams but added my own seal (silicone) to the speaker wire cup.I did have to sand out the hole for my 10” infinity reference subwoofer by about 3/16” all the way around but no problem as each sub is a bit bigger or smaller depending on the manufacturer.I am pushing my sub in this box with an Infinity Prius 300 watt amp and it’s perfect for rock

A very sturdy enclosure
I bought this mainly for its compact size even though the internal volume was too small. It made of some VERY dense particle board and quite heavy. If I have any gripe it's the badge they have on it. Since I have the enclosure sitting upsidedown the badge looks rather sillySo far it has worked well!
