UPDATE....MULTI-USE PRODUCT...BACKED BY A VERY ENGAGED COMPANY!!!
OK, "Emergency Blanket"... good enough idea on it's own, but I have found several ways to utilize this product beyond it's intended use. Handy in many situations, and for my purposes, having several in my pack, or "go bag" has become an essential item. Together with a roll of waterproof duct tape and some plastic "packing tape" I have been able to to improve my outdoor experience....a couple of these blankets make a very good sun shade and "rain fly" for a lightweight backpack tent (just a handful of plastic beads wrapped into the the corners and along the length, and bingo!, an easy way to attach paracord tie downs and with some tape to unite 2 blankets at the ridgeline, you have a great tent fly...also, you have the choice of reflective side out, or in my case, the camoflage side out depending on which way you want to reflect heat...good seasonal option)...All at a fraction of the weight of a nylon tarp, and much more waterproof. Also, makes a good "ground tarp" for smaller tents, and in my experience, has proven tough enough to withstand puncture from needles, rocks, and sticks. Additionally, these can be used to create sun and rain protection when wraped around the open frame of a truck bed rack (saved me on a very hot and sunny day here in the Southwest)...just wrap it around the frame and tape it to itself (by doing so, you create a "sleeve" which works better than static tape points which tend to stress and tear)..easy and effective, and no "sticky" to clean off your truck. Also, if you're short on shade, wrapping this around your cooler (shinny side out) really helps to preserve the life of ice. More? How about rigging a "Solar Oven" by digging a sunlight focus shaped pit and using the reflective side of this blanket as a liner....add a few rocks for heat retention and some clear plastic cling wrap and you can make a pancake mix and choclate bar baked treat! Versitility?...came in handy to use as a "dry bag" for transporting a backpack across a river...just wrap, fold like you would the top of a "dry bag" and tape "seams" to help seal and keep the folds tight...works! While "car camping" this blanket made a good "privacy screen" when hung off the rear cargo hatch when using a hanging bag shower ... one other blanket used to keep the water from splashing into the vehicle...and they dry very quickly. Originally, I was a bit "put off" by the price of this item and certainly the "cute" packaging adds to the cost...additionally, although this blaket is considerably larger and more durable than other "simular" products, I wanted a larger size to accomodate my "unsanctioned" uses of this blanket...Well, the seller got wind of my "gripe" and contacted me in a really friendly and engaged manner....actually interested in my feedback!!!...genuinely interested in providing someting to meet my needs, even suggesting a competetors product...in the end, turns out they also make a "Emergency Tent" that is of larger dimensions, and constructed of a "heavier weight" mylar material (can't imagine that the "heavy" maylar would come at the expense of too much weight to include in my pack)...so, I'm going to order a few of those to have on hand...who knows what great uses I'll find beyond their intended purpose....and I'll be watching this company for future inovations...they are a "good bunch", and have earned me as a loyal customer. Happy camping to you all ! And always be prepared.

Nice and packaged smaller than I thought
I bought these to add to an emergency kit I am building. I have had other Mylar blankets in kits before, but none were packaged this small. The picture showed them in a hand on the listing but for some reason I thought that was the size for each of them, not all 4 of the blankets in one pouch. I also bought the sleeping bag and the tent too, they offered an additional discount when buying more products. All them are very lightweight and seem to be of high quality.

Great as a pack or individually!
I love how this have a carrying case for the full pack of 4, but are also in individual pouches for if I just want to toss one in my truck for light travel just in case. It makes it functional as a pack or as singular blankets. They’re a great size and wonderful to have on hand to use during power outages or just in my truck for emergencies especially during this arctic blast.

Small, discreet, light & easily packable.
Have not fully opened one of the individual emergency "blankets" yet but they look & feel exactly the same as the cheap ones you get at the big box stores. The advertisement pictures are very misleading as the pouch the hand is holding actually contains all 4 of the emergency blankets. The blanket itself barely covers half the palm of the hand, folded & in its own tiny pouch. I do have to say, if these are indeed true to the size listed, they are & will be a very valuable addition to anyone's camping, hiking, outdoors gear. The individual pouched blankets are small & discreet & can even be stashed in a glove box. They are also extremely lightweight so one could be stuffed into a small pants pocket for a spur of the moment hiking adventure.

Incase you need one.
The picture can be deceiving. You only get one blanket. Size is ok. This is an emergency blanket that should work.
