All I could remember is exactly what the cover looked like, that she was a huge b-tch
I've been looking for this book for YEARS! All I could remember is exactly what the cover looked like, that she was a huge b-tch, and that it was happening around Christmas-time. Very nostalgic read for my and I'm glad I can add it to my bookshelf!

Pages kept falling out :(
The book is mostly fine but several pages aren't glued in at all and fell out as I was reading. They aren't ripped and there isn't any glue on the edge, they were simply just not attached. The words are a little smudged on a few pages and a couple pages on the left side have the first letter cut off, like it didn't print correctly. Overall it's not a huge deal, and I was actually going to give it 4 stars instead of 3, but as I kept reading more and more pages fell out and it's really annoying :/ If you want the book for a slightly cheaper price then I'd recommend this one but be cautious.

Comfortable Holiday Read
I read this through December which made it perfect in terms of atmosphere and immersion but Stine’s writing gets the reader to enjoy themselves in this light teen mystery although it’s nothing groundbreaking. A quick comfy read with a main character that you love to hate but get to know as well as a serviceable mystery although I did expect more after the recommendations from fans.

Engaging!
Wow! What an awesome read that makes tailspin over tailspin with each breathless chapter. The MC is Reva, a spoiled snotty sarcastic girl who cares for no one other than herself (and her dad and brother). She is mean-spirited and careless with other people's feelings, but her being the protagonist works because when horrible things happen, she is put on edge and taken from her comfort zone and forced to grow up a lot. What I like about this story is how it is contains a nice blend of pranks and actual deadly situations--it's a unique part of what makes some of his novels so appealing. The plot never lets up, and we are right there with Reva, and sometimes seeing things through her cousin Pam's eyes, wondering who's behind the terrible tricks. The Christmas time setting makes this all the more fun and exciting as we rush forward in anticipation for the answers!
