Honeywell is dumb for discontinuing this fan
Before I bought my own, I purchased this fan at the very last minute as a trunk party gift for a kid who left for college a couple years ago. I remember she called me and said she loved this fan. I recently purchased it for another kid going to college and received the same feedback.I was at my sister’s house 3 weeks ago and noticed she had one in her living room. After feeling how powerful it was, I was sold and ordered one for myself.I can’t say it’s as powerful as the classic metal high velocity fans. However, it’s no slouch. In my opinion it’s not as loud as people are making it out to be in these reviews. The tower fan portion sounds like a Lasko HVB (which is also a good fan). It can also go toe-to-toe with a Lasko HVB. The noise of the top fan is not as loud a box fan, but louder than a traditional desk fan or pedestal fan. You can have both fans on high while watching tv and not be phased.Once upon a time, there was a version of this fan than had a remote. I looked all over for that model and there was no luck. I even went to Honeywell’s website and they indicated both models were discontinued. Just plain dumb. What I dislike about Honeywell is they come out with high quality products, only to discontinue them (Turbo Force pedestal fan, Low profile window fan), now this one. Terrible. If you want a quality fan that’s gonna cool you off with some strength behind it, get this while you still can. I hope Honeywell comes to their senses and keep this model in production, but that’s too much like right.

Works well!
It has great airflow! The controls are simple. One dial for the bottom, one for the top. It oscillates 90 degrees. And you can put it against a wall because it draws the air in from the front. Set up was easy but does require some skill and following of directions. Just need to set up the base. No remote, which is what I prefer. It does make sound, not super quiet or super loud. The sound is the air flow which is soothing to me. I bought this because most reviews were positive and the most negative ones were actually positives for me as well. (No remote, some sound). I wanted a fan to draw in the cool air from the living room A/C into the bedroom. So far, it’s doing a great job!

Great purchase for the price!
Not too loud, love the two fans combined. Perfect to get air moving to everyone when we are in one room. Use it in the winter to move heat from a small gas heater too.

Not what I thought, but decent fan
This is a decent fan. It was not what I was expecting from the product description and buyer reviews.I thought it would have much more power than it has. It says you can feel it about 40 feet away. There is no way that is going to happen. It starts to dissipate about 12-15 feet away. You can probably feel it a little bit past that but not by very much. With that said though, I am still keeping the fan. I bought it for a regular tract house bedroom and it works fine. It does have some good power for 12-15 feet which is plenty to cool someone off or circulate the air in the room. The noise level isn't super quiet, but I don't think it is extremely loud either. The fan oscillates which is a plus. And if you are wondering like I was it has a pretty wide oscillation range. Bigger than the lasko tower fan I tried before this one.Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Love this fan!
This fan has been a left saver in my classroom this year. I live in the hot humid south and though my classroom has AC it never cools lower then 76° until mid-November. The stifling air just sit in the classroom until the fan blows it around again and this fan has solved my problem. It’s still to warm but at least the air is moving- both the kids and myself are so much more comfortable.Light weight for it’s sizeVery easy to use/turn onHigh and low fan modeSmall foot printDefinitely worth the purchase!

Buyer Beware
Bottom fan stopped working less than two years of buying this product. Reading the other reviews, they had the same problem.
