BowerSLY2X Digital 2X Converter for SLR & Digital Lenses

This 2x converter doubles the telephoto length of different lenses at a fraction of the cost of adding new lenses to one's lens repertoire. It is lightweight, easily installed, and works well. I recommend it to others.

Using 1000mm lens that is not automatic takes patience and understanding of photography basics. Given that and a sturdy tripod, this device works well with Bower's 500 mm lens. I do not have much experience with such zoom, nonetheless, I was able to obtain crisp pictures at distances of 70 and 300 feet.

Nice adapter for that need top expand your len's

I'm not sure if it's exactly or completely a legitimate 2x zoom, but it definitely does magnify the image. I gave this a 4-star because, although very secure, the connections are just a tiny bit wobbly.
