Helps
They’re a bit wider than described. When walking, they seem to look just fine when the dog’s toes open but it’s still too loose. My baby is almost 13, drags one hind leg and has knuckling issues as well where the toes bend backwards which makes these socks move sometimes and I have to pull it back to place. He has Degenerative Myelopathy and is currently on 1000 mg ( non-thc ) CBD OIL which seems to be helping slow down his condition and taking Galliprant for his arthritis on hips as well. But sometimes on his bad days he drags one hind leg really bad and he keeps slipping and these socks help a lot. Non-slip stickers come off all the time and this is the last alternative to protect him from slipping and scraping the skin on his knuckles. I think these are way better than non-slip stickers but I still use non-slip stickers together with the sock because i take it off when he’s asleep and I dont let him wear the sock all day due to blood circulation concerns. It can’t be worn overnight as the top part seems a bit tight thus the need to always have non-slip stickers. I dont use the velcro straps that came with the package. Those are not safe and can seriously cut the skin right thru the muscle if left unattended. These are meant only for indoor use. And too sticky for ceramic tiles or marble. Use them outdoors for a few times until stickiness goes away. Careful when going down steps or stairs if dog’s hind leg is weak. Mine tripped on it because it was too sticky on the step (paver) outside. It’s just one step down, the sock got caught because it was still fresh from the packet and too sticky. It was kinda sticking on the step. As his foot landed on the floor under the step, the shoe was halfway out. He tripped on it and he was limping right after. I am a housewife and stay home most of the time and can check on him. If you aren’t home always, use this product on days when you’re off work to find out if it can be good or bad. But overall, with proper supervision and getting to know how your baby can use it, these are very helpful. The toenails do hit the front part when walking. It may be bad if worn too long. Dog may end up with painful toe joints. So be cautious. 1 size down would have been better for the size 6 I ordered for my 100 lb slim German Shepherd. His hind feet are smaller than the front. These are too tight for his front feet. There’s a few drawbacks on this product but am still happy I got these. Will be buying a smaller size next time tho. Get these so your senior babies can have better quality of life. Highly recommend !

Good Fit
Bought this product to help my 1 year Rhodesian Ridgeback be able to walk on my wood floors. I consulted with customer service for the right size and they were right on the size they told me order. The socks are well made, better than what I found in the local pet stores. I put them on my RR and they slipped right off within about 15-20 minutes, so I added the Velcro strips and placed them exactly where the directions stated. This worked and held the socks on and kept them from twisting as well. The only thing is, the Velcro strips did not last long, meaning they curled on the ends and gathered lint on them so they wouldn't stick any more and this was after about 2 weeks of wearing. The socks gave my pup the confidence to walk on the floors and so I needed to figure out how to replace the Velcro strips. I wasn't going to order another set from the company because they didn't last long enough the first time. So I went to Walmart and in the automotive section, I found self sticking Velcro in a roll that was twice as wide as the original ones sent with the socks. I cut my strips and applied them to the socks and that did the trick. While the thinner strips may work for smaller boned dogs, they didn't last for my thicker boned dog but the wider strips work beautifully. I really do like the socks and the quality of them, I hope they last for a long time. I did use them outside as well to walk my dog on the street as I wanted to protect his paws from any salt residue during the winter. The only reason I didn't give a 5 rating was because I had to figure the alternative for the Velcro strips for my dog.

Chart size wasn’t accurate
The XXL didn’t fit my 85 lb Rottweiler/Rhodesian Ridgeback who is 14 years old. The foot part was too big and the sock part fit good, but they still came off. I returned them. I’m going to look for one that has a Velcro strap on the ankle which would avoid the slippage

Customer service and quality control issues.
I ordered a second pair. Our first pair and experience with this product and seller were great. The socks helped our 12 year old mastiff not slip on our hardwood floors which encouraged him to get up more in turn gave him the ability to keep strengthening his legs, especially back legs. The first socks were delivered quickly as well, within a few days. After about 2 months of daily use the rubber on the socks eventually wore out. We ordered our 2nd pair in the same size. His weight, size and nail length remained the same. This time the product sizing was off. Getting them on our mastiff was problematic. They seemed smaller, both rubber and knitted portions. Getting his paw into the rubber portion was a hassle. Also, it didn’t stretch or stay put (with velcro straps provided) as our first pair did. The second pair kept sliding off our mastiff causing him to constantly fall or trip. We stopped using the socks and contacted the seller to get an exchange for another pair as the first pair fit. Although the seller responded quickly they refused to provide us with an exchange, instead interrogated me with constant never ending questioning. I should of just returned the product through amazon. Instead I focused on looking for alternatives to care for and assist our senior mastiff with his mobility. We wouldn’t suggest this product or seller due to quality control, unreliable customer service and the hazard these socks pose to dogs if not fitted /constructed properly. For reference, our mastiff’s front paws are slightly larger then 3”, his back paws are slightly less then 3”, we ordered an XXL as the seller confirmed is his size.

Perfect fit and work like a charm.
Our aging pooch was finding it more and more difficult to negotiate the cork floors and manufactured deck boards. The grips work well on both and now he has his confidence back and is prancing around like a puppy!

Comfy and great for hardwood floors!!!
We have hardwood floors and these really helped him have good grip. Compared to boots and shoes, our puppy got used to this really quickly. Seems comfy... so glad !!!They seem good quality but they’re not super thick ... will see how they do when we have to wash them

Great product for a senior Golden Retriever
So glad we found these. My 12 year old Golden Retriever, who hates having his feet touched and has very hairy paws, was having a really hard time with our hardwood floors. He would just slide and end up laying down and not be able to stand up up by himself. We just put the socks on his back feet, while someone is tempting him with food lol, and they have made such a huge difference in our lives and his. He has more confidence now walking around the house and does not slide any more and is able to get up by himself instead of trying to struggle. We bought the XL size and they fit perfectly for our 76 lb boy.

I’d buy these again!
Great to see my pup not sliding all over the hardwood floors! It took a bit of getting used to but she doesn’t mind them now
