Excellent solution
I have a door with an arched top and could not use a conventional door closer unless we had a special mounting bracket fabricated, which would detract from the aesthetics of the door and frame. This solution was very simple to install and is barely noticeable (the hinge knuckles are considerably larger than a conventional hinge). However, I did find that adjusting the swing and closing speeds was difficult to do because I found the enclosed instructions very confusing.
