Rope splits and frays.
Hated using this rope for macrame. Doesn't hold together at all! As soon as I unwound to use it started splitting and unraveling! Very disappointing!

Beautiful but thin
This cord is very nice. Soft with a little sheen. It’s thinner than regular cord with only about 30 something strands. I used it to make Christmas angels so it worked out well. Very easy to comb for fringe as it unravels very easy. I would probably only use it for smaller delicate things.
