I've been using the Luminous Moisturizer from Round Barn Apothecary and have been really happy with it. So, I was excited to give this Luminous Oil a try.I, above all else, look for clean ingredients when purchasing makeup and skincare. I added this Luminous Oil to my morning and evening skincare routines, after cleansing and before moisturizing. This oil has a light texture that does feel greasy initially but absorbs quickly, allowing it to layer nicely with my other skincare and makeup products. It leaves my skin feeling plump and nourished.The only gripe that I have about this facial oil is that the second ingredient is sunflower oil. I would prefer to see this left out of the ingredient list for a higher quality oil. Otherwise, a quality oil from Round Barn Apothecary.

I’ve ordered this before and it was clear liquid. This one is cloudy? Do I need to worry about this one or did the formula change?

This oil stung my face. It did give a glow but It wasn’t worth the discomfort. It might work for others.

Good stuff

I have come to really love Round Barn Apthecary products. They have a new Firming Serum that I use in conjunction with this Luminous Oil. I use the serum first, then followup with the L-Oil and it feels so spa-like!This has a beautiful scent of citrus with a lovely touch of lavender. It is not a neroli scent that I was hoping for, but it is very unique and still very pleasant. It is a light scent that is very natural and not overwhelming.I agree with the other reviewers about the skin reaction feeling, but for me it is more of a natural tingling like it is doing a healing thing to my skin. It doesn’t make my face red, but it definitely is creating a reaction to the skin that might be uncomfortable to some people.On the positive, it feels like it really nourishes and hydrates my skin. I can easily use this under my foundation makeup without it being overly greasy.

I tend to have combination skin - dry in some places, oily in others. This has been very smoothing for my face. It's an excellent combination of oils that absorb really well, and moisturize without making me skin feel oily. I also have very sensitive skin and this works well for me. The slight orange scent is lovely, too.

Well ... I wasn't happy right off the bat. A glass bottle of some pretty pricey product came loose (not in a box) and was cracked upon arrival. It cracked enough to let the product slowly leak out of it.I still went ahead and gave it a try.The scent is absolutely beautiful ... felt like I was walking through an orange grove. For that I would give it 5-stars.I put just 2 little drops on my fingers and started apply to my face and immediately had a stinging sensation. This could just be my skin but left it on long enough to see that it was very "oily" and left my face very, very shiny. Some may like that look but it was a little too oily for me.Because of the stinging I felt I immediately washed it off. It left my face red for an hour or so but it is back to normal now.This just didn't work for my skin.
