Previous to taking this supplement, I had be using a powdered marine collagen (Type1) that I was adding to my morning coffee. From my research I found Type 1 collagen is found in our skin, teeth, bones, tendons, ligaments, bones and nails. I used this supplement for a couple of years, and in that time, the pain in my knees stopped, my bone density increased, I got no new cavities in my teeth, and, for 75 years of age, I have very few wrinkles. Since I am taking a few other supplements, some of which are for bones, joints, etc., I wasn't sure I needed to continue this supplement. So I quit taking it. BIG MISTAKE!!Within 3 weeks, some of my joint pain was starting to come back - aches in my back and hips and sharp pains in my knees. So, I looked for a collagen supplement in a pill form and found this one that has 5 types of collagen in it. I decided to try it since each type of collagen has its own benefits.The body synthesizes collagen in the same way it does other proteins: by combining amino acids broken down from dietary protein. Taking collagen in supplement form helps ensure plenty of these amino acids are available for building new collagen.1) Type I - This plentiful type of collagen is given the “type 1” designation because it was the first to be isolated and identified. Type 1 collagen makes up skin, tendon, bone, and ligaments. Type 1 collagen is often associated with marine (fish-based) collagen.2) Type II - Cartilage is where you’ll find type 2 collagen. Joints (like knees and wrists) are made of cartilage, which helps provide a structure that is also quite flexible. Some studies found that supplementing with type 2 collagen helped improve knee pain, as cartilage can gradually decline away with time and friction.3) Type III - This third type of collagen is found in skin, muscles, blood vessels, and large hollow organs like the uterus and intestines. Type 3 has been identified as a key player in wound healing.4) Type V - Type V collagen is found naturally in the cornea where it helps control collagen fibril sizes in order to maximize transmission of light. This type of collagen works naturally in conjunction with Types I & III and is responsible for optimal fibrillary formation and tissue quality in the human body. Type V collagen contributes to the bone matrix, corneal stroma, and the interstitial matrix of muscles, liver, lungs, and placenta.5) Type X is a reliable marker for new bone formation in articular cartilage. So this supplement should help with reduced cartilage.I have been taking this supplement, 3/day, for about a week, and my joint pain is already going away. Since I have been using it for such a short time, I can't say what the long term effect will be. My question would be whether the contents of 3 pills will have enough collagen to be effective. One important thing to note is that any collagen supplement should be hydrolyzed to improve absorption. This one is.UPDATE 09/13/22:I have been taking this supplement for about 1 month, and I do believe that is helping. It may be working more quickly since I had been taking another collagen supplement previously as described above. Once again, my finger joints are no longer stiff or locking as they had been. The shooting pains in my knees when going down stairs is gone, and so are the aches in my hips and back. My knees feel stronger and not shaky when going down stairs as they used to. I believe all of my problems are related to arthritis, and this supplement seems to strengthen bones and ligaments. I don't think I will stop taking a collagen supplement as I now believe this supplement was doing more good than I thought it was.I hope this review was helpful for you in choosing as supplement that will work for you. I will definitely update this review if my opinion changes.

This product works as a miracle! I play golf regurlaly. Before taking the product, I used to feel a lot of pain in my hands and knees. I used to come home from golf and feel my knees shaking in pain from the game, it used to wake me up at night. My hands would be in pain for days. On the 3rd day I took the product I went golfing and I was really impressed how my hands and knees didn't hurt and they haven't hurt since then. I also was going through a problem with my nails. They were breaking really bad but, since I started the product, I notice some stability in the nails and they aren't breaking as much! I won't stop taking it and I really reccomend it.

This multi collagen supplements are doing a good job. Since I started taking them, my joint pain is good, skin is looking good and these are easy to swallow.

They are ok, I don’t really see my results that quickly.

I was in a total panic. My hair was falling out because I had a double whammy of sudden post-menopause and being on the keto diet. In a certain subset of people, the keto diet can cause hair fallout...lucky me. I looked up recommendations for this and everything pointed to collagen replacement. This product had the broadest range of coverage, pure sourced ingredients, and was excellently priced (I even broke down the # of pills required daily by the # of days it would cover). I really was skeptical something so simple would work, but I had to try. Quite honestly, I was amazed. After about 2 weeks, my hair fallout slowed down significantly. My niece started having the same issue after being on the keto diet for a few months and I immediately told her about this product. I am awaiting her results, but she was quite relieved to hear of my success and is very hopeful. I'm grateful for this product and hope the price point remains reasonable. It has brought me true peace of mind at a sensitive time in a woman's life.

I could only get the 5 types of collagen in powder form. You can’t easily find this quality of collagen pills in my local market, they have really improved my overall health. I like that they’re grass fed and pasture raised and have felt no side effects, no after taste and easy to swallow. I feel they have amazing benefits for my skin, nails and hair with all 5 types of collagen.I can finally stop buying so many skin creams!
