I have a lot of thick, long, naturally curly hair so it takes forever to dry. This turban towel wrap is great for wrapping up my hair and helping absorb some of the extra moisture after a shower. My hair partially dries as I walk around and get dressed, put on my makeup, etc. When I'm finally ready to start drying my hair, the drying time is cut drastically down because my hair is far less wet after being wrapped in this towel. The best part is that it does retain some water. With curly hair, I can't just let it air dry because it gets all frizzy and awful looking. This towel retains enough moisture that when I am ready to style my hair I can still brush it, add some hair product, and then either air dry or diffuse it if I want it to dry quicker.The turban style towel has a little bit of a learning curve to it. I was actually using it backwards for my first couple of attempts! Once I figured it out, though, I love it! You simply flip your hair forward and place the large end at the back of your head, tuck your hair inside, twist, and secure. There is a little button at the back and loop at the front that you use to secure the towel in place once your hair is all twisted up. It stays in place much better than a regular bath towel wrapped around my head. A regular towel weighs too much and constantly falls off. This towel stays perfectly in place once I have secured the button closure.The terry cloth material is soft and non irritating to my skin. This turban wrap was huge and unwieldy. I've used towel turban wraps before but this was just too difficult for me.

This towel wrap makes washing my hair so much easier. Not to mention the benefits of microfiber towels vs a regular towel.This towel doesn't come with instructions but it is pretty intuitive. It also isn't clear what shape this towel is from the description. It is not rectangular in shape but shaped similar to a fitted sheet and the size is close to a bathroom hand towel. To use you just put the stretchy part over the back of your head and twist the remaining hanging from your head. There is a button on one end and a loop on the other which allows the towel to stay together and not fall off. I like using this much better than a standard bath towel because after I wash my hair I like to quickly put my hair up in a towel and moisturize my face an body. I would always have to adjust the towel and it would slip off my head. With this towel I don't have that problem.I love that this towel is microfiber. Microfiber is known for being gentler on hair than a normal towel. It is much softer than a regular towel and therefore doesn't cause the breakage that other towels can. I like simple ways to keep my hair healthy and this is about as simple as you can get. It absorbs water very well and I just hang it on my usual towel hook to dry. This would have been a 5 star product but it came with no instructions and I did have to wash it before using because it had a strange smell when it arrived. Another reviewer described it as smelling like dust which I agree with. After washing the smell was gone and I couldn't love this towel more for it's convenience and ease of use.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

I like using microfiber towel turbans on my hair after I shower because they damage your hair less than traditional towels, and they dry my long hair more quickly. Before trying this hair turban, I was only familiar with the Turbie Twist brand, which is what I've been using off and on for many years. This towel is fairly similar to Turbie Twist brand, but there is a few differences.This towel comes in a handy resealable heavyweight plastic zipper bag for storage. I suggest you wash this turban before using it due to a strong plastic type odd odor.This towel is fluffier than Turbie Twist, and a bit softer. It has elastic around the entire towel, and fastens with a loop around a large button, which differs from Turbie Twist as well. The pro of the elastic is that it secures the turban in place tightly. I feel I could wear it to bed and it would not come off as easily as Turbie Twist would. The minor con of the elastic is that because it is pretty tight, it dries my hair very quickly. I have to be careful how long I keep the turban on, or it can actually make my hair get too dry and wavy to blow dry straight.I think it would be nice if this product came with instructions. I am familiar with hair turbans so I had an idea as to how to put it on, but for a first timer it could be potentially confusing. I feel it's slightly more difficult than Turbie Towel to put on, due to the elastic. The way I use the turban is to lean forward with my head down, put the side with the button at the nape of my neck, then I put my hair inside the towel, twist and then attach the loop cord around the button near my nape. It did take me a few tries to figure out how to make the twist lie flatter, it was like puffing up on top of my head because of the elastic. You may need to experiment to find how many twists make the turban fit best for you.The bottom line is that I like this hair turban, it is soft, dries my hair well, and I've had no problems with it so far. Because it dries my hair so fast, I will probably be using this towel mostly when drying it overnight. I recommend this towel to anyone who wants to dry their hair with less damage, and more quickly than with traditional towels. I think it is best suited for adults, it would probably be too large for young children, but because of the elastic, it should fit many sized heads.
