Finally, I found a dog food that not only my doggies LOVES but also, it's good for her health. I wanted to feed my doggie and ancestral diet and I was trying my best to cook it at home, but she didn't like it and it was overly complicated. This food makes it possible for me to feed my dog REAL, good food without the crap other dog foods add. And she loves it!! I also buy chicken and beef patties. And their treats. Amazing quality!

These Purpose Freeze-dried wafers are the smelliest dog food product we have tried so far !!! However --- My lab danced in the air for me to hurry up and mix it and set her bowl DOWN!! Licked it clean every meal. She didn't end up with fish breath either. My husband could not stomach the strong fish smell ( left the feeding duty to me). But beyond that, I began to see a slight improvement in my dog's seasonal patchy hair loss. She was only on it for 2 weeks.....but to keep the peace, I've had to switch brands. I believe that it has the ingredients that are listed on the bag, it was easy to crumble and not messy. Just wish they had added some parsley or something to improve the odor. Easy transition, no tummy or poop issues. Hope it works for you. (if you have cats ---the smelliness probably won't bother you at all :)

We’ve been on freeze dried duck foods for over 5 years, and every so often my dog gets tired of the same food, so I have to find a similar alternative. This food is by far the best out of all the freeze dried duck that she was on. The best test for me is always if she eats it right away and if she feels good after- both tests passed successfully. The patties are soft and look fresh and the ingredients are just right, there’s no weird chemicals that sometimes you see in other brands. I’m very pleased with this brand and will definitely continue buying it for her, I feel relieved to have found it, because for a while I tried other brands at the pet store (not from amazon) that she didn’t really like and it stressed me out, but the convenience of getting it shipped plus the fact that she’s cleaning out her bowl - is priceless to me.

I’m not sure if this dog food is safe. When I break it apart there’s a lot of thick and hard bones. I usually feed my dog Primal but wanted to give this one a try. I had to throw away the whole bag because I just don’t feel safe feeding my dog big chunks of bones. Maybe it’s okay for big dogs.

I have purchased almost every type of dog food (cans, kibble, frozen) for my spoiled Shih Tzus and this is one of the only ones they will eat willingly and without coaxing. (It also seems to lead to smaller, firmer poop.) I like the high protein content and the fact it includes veggies and fruits also, and my dogs are happy and energetic on this diet.

dog loves them but they always come crumbled so I only get about 10-15 patties intact. needs to be shipped better.

My chiweenie was the pickiest eater before I discovered raw freeze dried food and all of its benefits. I tried a few brands and she devours it. However, Purpose is a great value for the $ and has been the best so far. So far we have tried the Duck and the Turkey & Sardine. Easy to break up and she absolutely loves it.

This product is nice and my dogs love it. Upon opening, it smells like a cooked ground beef patty. The only thing that I have some trouble with is breaking these biscuits apart. They are seriously compacted and if you are only giving some for your dogs food as a "topper" these might not be for you.
