Perfect Fit, Restored life to my APC SMX3000RMLV2U
Update: After three years of continued service, the battery is still fully operational and still performing at manufacturing specs. This battery has saved my equipment several times from intermittent power outages, and allowed me the ability to go one year, straight, uptime on my one server that hosts. Having accomplished this goal of mine with the product, I’ll be buying more for future replacements if need be.Perfect Fit and immediate response from my APC smx3000rmlv2u. Wouldn’t keep power to all of my devices till I got a new battery after I bought the unit. Replaced the battery and it’s brand new again. I have even tested it, at around 750VA I can sustain that load for 30-35 minutes, just like manufacturer spec. Very pleased with how easy it was to replace as well.

All of four top covers do not align with APC. The insertion made it very difficulty.
All of four top mantel covers do not align with APC unit. it stuck. The insertion of all four made it very difficulty. To customize and bent down the mantel cover to make it work. bad design and QC.

First was fine, second failed bad
Bought one 3 years ago. Replaced with another from the same Amazon listing. This one never worked. Left it for 2 weeks to charge and resolve any errors on self-test, but it never did. Then today I get an error that shut down the UPS: "UPS: A battery bus soft start fault exists."I unplugged the battery and am ordering a new one from another seller. My guess is it's from the same stock as 3 years ago, or is recycled, or used. Bad juju.

Works well, but only lasted 20 months
This non-OEM battery fit perfectly in an APC smx3000rmhv2u, and worked well. However, the UPS declared it needing to be replaced after 20 months. (Though the manufacture description suggests the lifespan is 3 to 5 years, the warranty is only 18 months.)
