I wish they were ceramic
I really have been trying to stay away from plastics in my home, especially for food, and this would include for my dogs too. The water dish doesn't fit perfectly into the stand, but the food one does! I really wish these were ceramic, as they would probably last longer too. If my dog decided to chew these up, he would have no problem, something to be weary of if you have an aggressive chewer. My dog knocks these out of the stand a lot, but I wanted one lower to the ground, so for that this is perfect. Overall, a 3/5 because I just wished for a little better.

It's not non skid
It's nice, the water bowl really doesn't need to be a maze bowl. The bottom is not non-skid, it slides on the floor.

Good product. Medium dog will still move bowls.
Good product for slow feed, but a medium sized dog will still push bowls around.

Too large for an actual ‘small’ dog :(
Ordered this item for a small dog that scarfs her food. Loved that it came with a tray as well, but I had to return...This item is a bit too large for SMALL dogs. I have a dog weighing in under 10lbs and it was entirely too big for her to use. Unfortunately I wished they had disclosed the size of the bowls before purchasing bc I loved the tray and slow feeder option for both the water and food bowls that this product offered. One of the cool features the tray had was the ‘moat’ like Groove to prevent ants from entering your pets bowls. I also admired the raised back side of the tray to prevent splashing from slurping or messy dogs.Again, LOVED this design. Just really wished it was smaller so I could’ve kept and used. (Anyone looking to use this for a cat or other small animal heed my warning as well!).

It works! Less water on the floor!
I have a lab mix who is a sloppy drinker. The bowl design seems to slow him down and the tray does catch the drips so less water on the floor. The design of the food bowl seems to slow down his eating and helps his digestion(less gassy). The only con I've found to this item is the water bowl is small. I find myself filling the bowl up more frequently than when we had a regular metal bowl.

Good purchase
Great invention. Needed something for my daughters dog who when he eats flings his food everywhere with his nose before eating some of it or flings it all outside the bowl and piles it up in a corner for later...? Anyway this works almost perfectly. He tries to fling but the prongs keep him from doing a lot of damage. Only a few nibbles escape now.

Great Bowl Set
This has significantly slowed down the eating behaviors of my dog. Seems to be digesting better.

Does skid and bowls push around in the tray.. also $7 less a month later
The tray did skid around and the bowls get moved around in the tray, I thought they would snap in or at least just have a bigger lip in the tray mold to hold the bowls in place. They also look pretty darn grimey one month later... Even with washing it. Bummer too to come back to the listing to leave a review and see it is $7 less. Ay caramba. It DOES make our dog eat slower, so that's good.

Disappointing
The item itself is aesthetically pleasing. The main issue I’ve had is that the little white anti-slip strips on the bottom of the bowls come off, I found one next to the bowl and had I not been watching my puppy could have eaten it. They’re small so it probably wouldn’t have been and issue for the dogs stomach. It’s not ideal though. I wouldn’t expect this from an item that isn’t exactly cheap. I’ve taken the white strips off the bowl in question, which now means it slides around in the tray. The bowls are also very flimsy and my pup has chewed them up to the point where they scratch his nose.
