Mercedes Transmission Dipstick for Mercedes 722.6 Transmissions – Replaces OEM 140589152100

This product was exactly as described. Worked perfect for my 2008 Mercedes e300. Transmission was slipping a little when cold. This tranny was supposed to be sealed for life. After receiving this dipstick I drove the car around for about half hour and checked the transmission fluid level with the car running as you should to discover it was a litre and a half low. Topped it up with approved 236.14 fluid and tranny runs as good as new no more slipping. I would recommend this dipstick to anyone with a 722.6 transmission and check your fluid level before going to any garage for costly repairs that aren’t required.

The plastic end came curved from packaging and has not straightened since we got it. The need for this tool is stupid in any case. Mercedes should simply provide a transmission dipstick. How cheap can you get.

Works as described. Anyone with a T1N Mercedes Sprinter van needs one of these.
